Whitestone Funerals

I could not imagine getting through this terribly sad time without Rose who was the funeral director from Whitestone. From the moment she arrived at out house after Dad died she put us all at ease. She made such wonderful thoughtful suggestions and knew just what to say and when to say it. Rose helped make my Dads send off incredibly special. I felt like we had all made a special friend. After the funeral Rose continued to check in with my mum…. She visited mum and even emailed me to check to see how we were all doing. I honestly couldn’t speak highly enough of the excellent personal service provided by Rose.

From the first phone call to the collection of our Dad's ashes, our experience with Whitestone Funerals, and Lea especially, was so caring and professional we have no hesitation in recommending them with complete confidence.

When our mother passed away recently we were very fortunate to secure the services of Whitestone Funeral Services and the amazing Rose. Rose kept us informed throughout the process, guided us when necessary and helped us create the exact farewell our mum wanted. Her practical, empathetic support helped us navigate a very difficult time. A mention to Mike as well, who helped Mum to look her best. Highly recommend!

Lovely gardens, that's why I've given it 2 stars. The seats are too close together for families at the front to try and get up to speak. After the funeral 'nothing'. I am still trying to get hold of my Aunts ashes, she had her funeral on the 30th of September, now here we are the 23rd November still no ashes. My sister e-mailed to find out what was happening to be told we need the executors permission to get them. The executor has phoned me twice to say Whitestone are sending her ashes down in a couple of days, first phone call in October, second phone call last week, November. I've e-mailed Whitestone and said i don't want her couriered down I will drive up to get her, can I make a day that suits, again NOTHING. Very stressful time when your already emotional enough with the death of a loved one.

Fantastic team to work with, very professional and caring. I really appreciate their 'Remembrance Service' at the end of the year that brings the community together. It helps on the journey of grief at a time when a loss of a loved one can be tough.
