We parked here in our caravan for four nights. Good value for money.The folk at this pub are so welcoming & friendly as are the locals.The meals are greatThe town has a lot of history as does the surrounding area.

We didn't stay but had a great evening meal, morning tea, and the customary warm and efficient service from Jane and Pat was a pleasure in the attractive setting. The libraryis admirable, and I was allowed to borrow a significant and precious biography.

Most authentic hotel around this area. Classes rooms with shared bathroom and showers attached to a old style pub and restaurant.

We had a lovely stay here, it had a nice small town feel. The food was fantastic and made with local ingredients (get the bangers and mash!) The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was cozy, clean and comfy bed!Thanks for having us!!Would highly recommend!

We stayed overnight in their car park in our caravan. The publicans were very friendly, welcoming and obligingly in every way. The hotel was warm and inviting with all the charm of a West Coast pub. This is definitely the place to come for a true West Coast experience of good old fashion hospitality, we cannot recommend highly enough.

Had coffee then drinks and lunch.We had the Venison burger and Chowder, both of which were excellent.Drinks and lunch prices were very good value.

Had breakfast here, it was unbelievable, we weren't sure if we're going to stop in as we had just visited blackball to visit the butcher but we are so glad we did.So perfectly cooked, felt like it was home cooked, every detail was high quality. Very nice people as well and the granddaughter who kept bringing us out extras was absolutely lovely. The Rowanjelly Jam(I think) is beautiful. We plan on staying in Blackball next time just so we can have breakfast here again
