Wooden Gates

Slow to respond and pricing for fairly basic standard size driveway gates very high (almost $10k)

Put simply as New Zealand’s “Dodgy Gate Company”

A Wooden Gate was promised to be restored by The Wooden Gate company and within weeks paint is bubbling and falling off. Wooden gates have refused to remedy the issue with now dozens of large bubbles the size of my fist blistering and flaking. Their are now in excess of 50 small bubbles also flaking and with joints pulling apart.Wooden gates have refused to sort and have made no attempt to put right or refund the payment made.I wish I had gone with another company or used a high quality aluminium gate which would not of caused me all the headaches.A very poor non customer oriented company to to do bussines with.They will take your money but DONT stand behind their product

Shockingly negative experience very unprofessional and incompetent. Read the other negative comments don't be fooled you will regret it !

Have been waiting for over 2 months for repairs. Constantly promised to send repair person, never turned up. Even had a confirmation email one the day, still never turned up. Have now given up and having the gate removed.Interesting no other gate company will touch their product. Perhaps enough said in that alone.

We had a custom designed Art Deco gate made by Waiuku Wooden Gates. Seriously impressed by the high quality construction. Has lasted the test of time and still looks amazing after many years of use (hooked up to automation by Trilect Automation). Definitely recommend!

At first I thought I had a beaut gate.But after 12 years it has started to rotThere must have been a crack in the hinge side stile..water got in and the rot started.The company offered to fix it at a cost of $1000 plus..which is pretty rough given poor workmanship in the first place

Not professional, gave up chasing the sales person. Time wasters.
