One of the worst companies I have dealt with for years.They have a 'national call centre' that you wait 20 mins to talk to someone who knows nothing about anything. You can't phone their branches to sort problems, though their branch staff are mostly clueless as well. On top of this they take a week to answer Emails with reading the original. Buy anywhere but here and never buy from them online!

Awesome customer service, the staff were super helpful and even organised a student discount for us. 10/10 would recommend Blackwoods for any trade purchases.

Spent half an hour putting together a safety helmet, with the staff because they didn't know how.$120, brought one from Top maq for $40, already assembled, instead.

As most people work, Monday - Friday (and by a crazy coincidence) very similar hours to your companies opening hours, wouldn't it be a fantastic idea to either have the shop open on a late night during the week or possibly even a Saturday morning. It would be appreciated if the real workers who actually require safety equipment might be able to call into a specialist store and pick-up their legally required safety equipment without having to enter those other much larger stores (with thousands of people accompanied by their screaming children) that are open all weekend in the hope of finding a cheap alternative and invariably inferior product that ultimately does not suit the safety requirements required on today's work-sites???

The comment below, although scathing, suggest they have the best product in town so I'm going to check it out and report back :)Yeah its awesome. Super knowledgeable staff, great quality product, got everything I needed in one stop. Even order some stuff in for next week. Highly recommend. So good I would take a couple of hours off work just to shop there.

Staff are nice but we brought a malwakie tool and we ordered it online and got it from the demo stand, Full price. It was discouraging. Expecting to pay full price band new. Not some second hand mangled box and a used tool.
