Lovely little spot, especially the courtyard. Customer service was good and so was the food.BEST Espresso Martini I've ever had!

Had the best Thai crispy pork belly pad ped dish I've ever had and my partner got a lamb shank that was the most tender I'd ever seen. Lovely quiet atmosphere even though tables were full the whole experience was 10/10

Visited this last week and I said I'm alone and one staff offer me to find sit outside and will bring the menu(lots of free tables inside). After a few minutes she bring menu. I ordered mix Seafoods with rice thought the rice is mixed with Seafoods. No picture on Menu. Food is not good as I expected. Pricy. Good ambience inside and outside view of Mount Ruapehu.

Food was fab. Crispy pork Penang awesome.Service was friendly and pleasant.They didn't come back to ask for dessert or more drink, no problem for me, as I did not need it, but more feedback to owner as just what you need to do to max your dollar I would think.

Fantastic food + Fantastic Staff. Restaurant was absolutely pumping and they still managed to find space for us. Great friendly service, and really good portion sizes - the Massaman Lamb was impressive in size and flavour. Will definitely return.

We went back here because dinner was so great the first night. Get the green curry! Also the desserts were tasty and the wait staff is super nice and attentive.

Rice Bar and Food is a gem for Thai food in Ohākune. From the delicious cocktails, friendly staff and beautiful, authentic Thai dishes and atmosphere you will not be disappointed! WouldHighly recommend to anyone looking for quality Thai food. The deserts are delicious- the platter gives you a taste of it all!

We had an amazing time! The service was amazing and the food delicious! We finished a few cocktails, which were so nice and refreshing, and had some crazy tasty starters! We were amazed with how fast everything was coming out! Thank you JJ for the most amazing meal.I would definitely recommend the coconut, pan dang panna cotta, if you have room for desert! That was delicious. I will be back to try everything else on the menu!
