Short but nice enough walk, with a nice open space 5 mins in.

Bit hard to find unless you know where to look. Car park area in front of Hamilton Car Club hall. Track is grass walkway between to private driveways has signs but could easily be missed. The grove area is mown and a good size but there are no factilies (toilets, picnic tables, etc).

If you are looking for a casual walk with good sceneries. Then this is the right place. Near to newstead school. You can park your car in the outside parking lot. Then just walk-in via the sign board. Good 3 to 5 kms walk. You have place to sit and relax in between. Take your snacks and food to have here. Further along side you can hear the sound of water falls. Kids will definitely enjoy the place. For couples and friends good entertainer too. Try it on a shiny weekend !!

The track from the Morrinsville Road end not well sign posted once you get started. At the first fork in the track, take the right hand track. The left hand track leads to the Cemetery. Once across the bridge the track is easy to follow. When you get to the Eucalyptus Grove, head towards the picnic table. The track picks up to the right of that.Other than these small things, its a wonderful little track and easy for all ages.

Tallest eucalyptus trees in NZ and a stream that is full of life. Well worth a visit. Pram friendly-ish.

Easy and nice little walk 1.2km each way. Wheel chair friendly. But worth a little stretch of the legs

Short easy walk - great to do with the kids and conveniently close to the Ruakura Berry Far.
