Stopped here whilst on the Christchurch-Queenstown bus + had time for a toastie + a flat white. They were both excellent. Clean toilets too so everything I needed for the onward journey :)

Was not happy with the carrot cake I ordered. It was so dry and probably one of the worst carrot caked I'd eaten. There was even icing on the middle of it. No cream cheese on top.

Great Visitors centre, with informative staff, looks to be in the middle of moving/renovating, due to COVID. There is also a shop and cafe. They had lots of leaflets for different attractions nearby and a lot of AA touring maps and books.

Very quiet when we popped in for lunch on our way south. Disappointed with the coffee. Toasted sandwich nice.
