I forgot to take pics of our order that chilly Thursday night but I had this pepperxhotchicken burger plus the 8-pieces thigh! Hubby and I instantly loved the OG Burger as we didn't expect the tenderness of the chicken with the crunchy outside.Since we also had to share with our wee one, we had to keep the thighs with no spice and our daughter loved it with the fries!Chicken Thighs - Tender with Crunchy coatingOG Burger used the brioche bunI like the pickles and I think are home made. I may be wrong but I would like my pickles to be just nice as those (not the ones in jars)Fries - do not forget the fries for kids. :-DWe'll try the wings next time and see if we can go beyond Mild Plus.

The curly fries I ordered had tasty seasoning but unfortunately they had no crunch, just soft and oily. The chicken as well was meh, skin was soft and falling off. I order a medium spice level everywhere but somehow the mild plus was a little much for me? Sauce was delicious but the pottle barely a third full was a bit stingy. Overall meh

Have to compare to Soul Shack, because that’s my fav. Fries are as good. Burger was too much bread, the bun could be smaller and more sweet. Definitely recommend the tenders, thighs or wings instead. Good crunch, good flavour, good spice. Just not as juicy as soul shack, but was still nice! Happy to have a local hot chicken place.

Pickup times can be quite long during peak times, which put us off trying for a while. When we did end up trying it, it was a really good! The fried chicken burger is amazing, it would be hard to find better in Lower Hutt.

CLEAN TASTING CHICKEN SANDWICH! The OG Chicken sandwich is clean, fresh and very tasty. Quality ingredients, particularly the pickles. ;)Make sure you order ahead to avoid the wait.Chips were nicely cooked but the the seasoning was slightly too salty. Could do with more spice less salt? But still good just not as great as the sandwich.Looking forward to try the other items.Great start here guys.

I tried this yesterday and had the OG burger and hot wings. I got the hottest level for both. They were very nice, good flavour and a really good spice kick. Only get this level if you’re not scared of a bit of pain. Good quick service.

Delicious succulent Nashville hot chicken! I highly recommend the sliders, boneless thigh pieces and wings. I tried the curly fries but will stick to crinkle cut next time.

Writing this review not after first try , but several repeated visits. This place has always been a special visit for us for their delicious tender chicken and the fries for our boys . Our boys stopped buying fries and chicken from Mc D or Burger King , and would prefer this place over the giants .New place , tasty and delicious food, especially the tenders , fries and the OG .Keep up the great work and the Quality of the food guys . Will always be a special place to treat family and friends over .

Food was delish, mild was a little spicier than expected so if you are undecided between two spice levels maybe pick the lower one.This is a new business and there are still a lot of kinks to be worked out. The wait time was a little too long for a food truck, and they were out of stock or ‘unable to find the stock’ of a number of menu items which limited the already small menu. Hopefully they manage to improve on these early issues and if so they will be a great credit to the Lower Hutt food scene.
