Great service. Clean and new Toyota Rav 4 for the trip. Hertz always reliable, never failed me yet.

Very busy place so allow extra time to pick up your car. But staff were friendly and was a quick process once we reached the front of the line.

Would guve one star but the young Māori man working yesterday was really helpful and kind. Just a warning Hertz will need a physical licence or temporary licence and photo id, and a debit card with your name on it from you. Dont get yourself stranded because they dont communicate key info. Hertz should not be relying on a exterior company like AA (this happened to anither customer egsactly tge same way when i had arrived, if you notice issues arrising try mitigate ) their procedures.. All it takes is a auto change if the finql email confurmation sent to the driver and we wouodnt have wasted money and time on taxis to return and grab what they needed.

The young Asian male was outstanding, not too happy with their book keeping though.. too many mistakes, gave car that was not full and was informed to the manager on duty on pick up who assured us it's been noted. Yet on return we were asked to pay. Had to change cars 2days later because the one provided had leaking roof. They only had one car which was not adequate and was advised next day I can have one. I had to drive one of their cars to airport in return to swap car I booked even after confirmation that car will be ready to pick up from city. Too many frustrations.. in the end finally gave up and drove thier to get what I booked. Very frustrated..

Don’t recommend using this place at all. The Manager seemed to enjoy making the process more difficult than it had to be, rather than actually trying to help me out. The baby seat that was installed for us was really poorly done, and not safe for a baby to travel in. They shouldn’t be offering this service if they don’t have someone adequately trained to do a proper job.

Horrible service ever, almost a fraud….I booked a car through online and on the day I couldn’t get it because of my age even though I put my age on website. And booked another car but they said it’s unavailable. Then why would you put on website when it’s unavailable? Not sure what they are doing but please people double check. Hope you guys can get a car^^

Called in here beforenyou contract up as had problems with our rental car. Couldn't do anything. Told us to go to the airport! This was the Friday that Auckland airport got closed. Went to airport and no one there!!! We persevered with the fault on the car never knowing if we could lock it or start it. Finally left it in Wellington with a note telling them about the fault.

Had a car reserved and accidentally picked it up a day late, but Dylan was very understanding & kind and found us another car to use - the last one they had available! It is not an exaggeration to say that Dylan was not the hero we deserved, but he was the hero we needed to save our vacation. 5 stars!
