I really appreciate having a clinic to go to when our own GP is booked up. I was told today it would be a 3.5 hour wait time before I paid, they were open and upfront about this when I walked in. The staff were so kind and caring as they always are. Thank you.

Consulting fee for non-residents has been hiked to 200 dollars. Check photos for full rate card.Though the doctor was good, the administration messed up the lab samples in our case. Got back to us after 2 days informing about their mistake and then wanted us to go there again IF (!) we wanted the test results.

Worst experience. Waited almost 3 hours and $100 bill. That was expected as was out of town so not enrolled. Tests were done to be sent to lab and doc said he’d text me within 24 hours with result and recommended treatment. Text never came and so I chased after 48 hours. Was told different things by diff people (that I did or didn’t have what they’d tested for) as the lab techs didn’t seem to know how to read the results. Was finally told I had what they’d tested for and GP would call within half an hour to advise treatment. No call an hour later so I called up again later only to be told the Doctor didn’t deem my case urgent enough so he’d call me on Monday (this is a Thursday) and to make a phone appointment (I’d have to pay another $60) with my GP in Auckland if I want to be advised treatment. This is an issue I need sorted as involves really uncomfortable symptoms that need treatment. This is shocking!

Sadly, our experience was appalling. Being charged THREE times the normal GP's fee was just the beginning. I am not sure of the legalities in this situation, but the fee was 'justified' because my partner only had a Visitor Visa. Everything else was normal, until we arrived at the adjoining pharmacy to find we had no prescription! We were then asked to go back to reception and wait in line, again, to rectify this. We then waited in the pharmacy for an eternity to receive our prescription. I don't know who was at fault and it's all over now, but I have travelled all over the world and never experienced such amateurism. Thankfully, I speak English and my partner only had the common cold. I can't imagine what new visitors to our shores must feel visiting this 'cattle market' if their English is not so good! I will never darken their door again.

I visited the clinic around 5.30 on 15 June with concerns about irregular heart rhythm which was ongoing and not settling. Not being an enrolled patient at the clinic I was expecting a wait to be seen and also thought that I may not be seen at all before closing at 8.30 I am happy to say that I was attended to without delay and was away before 8.00 very much more at ease following the required treatment, ECG's etc. Right from reception through to nursing staff (including a first year med student sitting in on the appointment) and the doctor who attended I could not fault the professional and friendly service provided. Thanks so much to all of your team for their great work.

We went to Riccarton Clinic last week with one very sick child with respiratory issues . We hadn’t booked. Whilst the wait was long, as it is everywhere at the moment, the staff were attentive and kind. During our wait a nurse came and checked on my child 3 times to make sure he was okay. When we got to see Doctor Goebel she was very patient, kind and listened to my concerns.I was really impressed with the service that we received even whilst the system and staff are under such duress.Thank you

i was in the waiting room in extreme agony and pain it had been over 2 hours and the pain was only increasing as this stage. i was getting a little bit upset and was whispering to myself and my dad about how bad it hurt and i was using minor explicit language but making sure only me and my dad could hear it then all of a sudden another patient makes a complaint about me full of lies saying i was yelling at her children, pulling the finger and causing a scene although she was the only person who seemed to have a issue with it. then after i finally get a doctors consultation i’m waiting in line to see the receptionist and then this lady starts yelling at me from the waiting area. and then i start crying and defending myself as calmly as possible explaining to her that my conversation was private and if she didn’t like the language used then she shouldn’t have been eavesdropping on my conversation which then proceeds to get me (f15) kicked out just because a full grown woman lied about A CHILD. worst service ever only positive part was the doctor. absolutely cannot believe that the managers refused to hear both sides of the story and instantly attacked the child just because the (around 50 i’d say) adult lied. that is something you can check the cameras for and also the multiple other patients sitting near me that had no issue and seemed confused by this ladies complaints. would not recommend unless you want to leave with more pain then coming in with

A late dash across town with an unwell preschooler arriving just after 7pm. Lovely triage nurse and doctor. Seen quickly and with upmost care for an upset kid. Wait time less than told to anticipate. Thank you for a great service.

On Friday April 21st, I visited Riccarton Clinic After hours around 12midday, I had chest pain, I was attended to promptly, very kind staff saw me, I can't remember the name of the nurse who first saw me, tall and slim, very very efficient. Then I saw Gareth Iremonger, he was very kind and thorough.Thank you so much for the beautiful work. Ofcourse I paid and I was happy because of the beautiful service. The floor manager was kind too, I had ECG and Bloods done all at the clinic.

Amazing service for my sick 2 year old from start to finish. 1.5 hours. Was greeted with a smile, then seen by nurse. Was asked to do a RAT test then was seen by the doc. All very friendly and helpful on a Sunday late afternoon. Can't fault them.Definitely a breath of fresh air from the Medical industry.
