a little disappointed w the customer service, basically I had been sold the wrong set of ride on mower blades by OMC staff. I emailed to inquire about returning the part, to be told that OMC couldn’t/wouldn’t accept the return and I should put the part on Trade Me to sell, ummmm not how I treat my customers (30 years in business), sorry guys but you’re off the Christmas card list.

Thanks for my latest purchase. Its a great generator, arrived just on lock-down so gave me insurance if we were to loose power and also the flexibility to run a whole building site if need be.Just need to get an adapter for the house to switch over on demand.% stars from me.Duff .Wanaka

Super happy with my new Scag Patriot ride-on purchased from Gerry at OMC Power Equipment. Gerry went all out to deliver the mower before Christmas, which was a feat of extraordinary determination and effort on his part.My first job with the mower was an overgrown 1200 sqm section which was quite steep in places. The owner said it hadn't been mown for a few months, which was evident by the amount of grass laying down and new growth which had grown through, probably multiple times. In places the grass was over a metre tall, but it only took a little over 2 hours and 2 passes to get it down to 50mm. The mulching blades (Gerry's idea) on the side-discharge deck finely cut the grass which surprisingly left a small amount of clippings.With every business it is important to partner with suppliers who are going to support and help your business prosper. Gerry was excellent to deal with, very informative with differences between brands. I brought a SCAG zero turn mower, very happy with it, it is certainly a step up in quality from my older mower i had!

Aaron Johnson has been superb to deal with from the initial enquiry to a onsite test run at our farm (steep razorback land) to make sure the Canycom could cope with our place. His expertise in handling the machine and his very friendly approach made the whole conversation seem like you were talking to a mate who really went out of his way to make sure the Canycom would be the right machine for us. There is no hard sales, just a genuine approach to make sure the fit is a good one. Aaron personally delivered the machine to us and made sure it was all good to go for its maiden voyage. Really appreciated the extra effort and time he spent answering so many questions, all done with a smile and even the test driving was great fun. The Canycom is a fabulous machine and we are really seeing the benefits of a robust, solid, stable and idiot-proof machine to operate here. Its handled everything we've thrown at it so far and keeps impressing me every time I use it. I'm only 5ft 2in and it caters for my size and that of my husband at over 6ft tall. Fully adjustable seating so that even on the steepest of terrain I dont feel like I'm going to fall off or out of the machine. Best purchase so far for our 100acre farm we recently acquired. I have been dealing with Manfred and Aaron for a number of years now. We have purchased four canycoms for a commercial vineyard through OMC. Not only have the machines been solid, but so to has the support and back up from OMC. These guys are good to deal with and sell quality equipment.

OMC have been a professional, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly team to deal with. Gerry was patient and responded quickly to questions about the mower we were interested in. Jaymee in Service, John the pick up / drop off guy and Paul in the servicing area have all been wonderful to deal with - can’t rate highly enough. The machine itself is legendary - we got the Scag Liberty Z and it’s rocking through the work on our lifestyle block! Thanks again - it’s rare to find such great service. You should all be proud. We purchased a LPG powered generator from OMC. From the initial contact to the final commissioning of the generator, every step was smooth and professional. And the Kohler generator is just awesome. We already had a power cut and it kicked in immediately and we enjoyed (for the first time) not losing power while all our neighbours were out of power. Thanks very much.
