Jadan Supermarket

My favourite Asian grocery store, the only one I would visit for my weekly shop due to the store always well stock and ready for customers unlike nearby Asian grocery stores, its very clean environment, well presented groceries. Well balance offering of fresh produce, Chinese BBQ, meat section, seafood area, frozen Asian foods, Asian dry foods and snacks, toddler friendly shopping environment. Some produce cost a bit more but I normally go there to get Asian veges, mince suitable for making dumplings, huge selection of instant noodles, Chinese spicy sauces and tofu products that I can’t find in western supermarkets. The fresh youtiao/ fried Chinese breakfast donut in a large container next to the checkout is a must have, and they do sell out fast. Overall friendly and proactive staff, if there are certain types of meat product they do not have, but if they think they can help source for you, they will, we once requested 1 kg of duck’s tongue and they managed to source for us. The staff will proactively open another counter when the lines starts to get busy, great harmonious team work. By the exit/ entrance of the store conveniently has a Chinese dim sum type food truck.

Best clean and tidy Asian supermarket in mount roskill area.you will find almost everything including vegetables ,fruits,meats,snacks,utensils and it has on site parking as well.

I come here when Yi Cart is full. In Jadan you see less dodgy people who are crawling for specials on a Friday morning. The customers who come here are more descend than the one across the road. Price wise you pay a little extra for the environment

Very irresponsible owner who sell products with a much higher price. Correct your customer service attitude and do your business again

Fresh veg, reasonable prices and great variety. I got everything i needed for our hotpot at home.

If you only speak English.DONT BOTHER GOING HERERudest and most racist customer service I have ever seen or experienced.I went into seafood section that looked liked it was closing but the lady without me even saying a word just shooed me away saying 'No go away'.I walked out then an Asian man walked in and she serves him straight away. Seriously???

Questionable quality of their fresh produce. I bought a 2kg box of cherries and within the 3rd day they started being mouldy, I noticed some of mould looked like they have been growing for awhile. I’ve never had this issue when I purchase from other supermarkets like Taiping or Countdown. Brought it back to Jadan and they showed me a disclaimer on the receipt that says their fresh produce lasts only 2 days?! Well I reckon they should have printed that on the pack of their fresh produce instead. Inferior quality is what they have.

Nicely set out, clean with off street parking. In some cases like soya sauce and cooking oil, can get cheaper at normal supermarket. Wide range of Asian goods, but not much cost saving benefit.
