One of the items I took in (a pair of trousers) was not altered in the way I had asked - to shorten with a cuffed hem. The pants do have a cuffed hem, but I had not asked for several pintucks to be removed in the process. What is really disappointing is that I contacted Looksmart on their feedback email explaining the issue and seeking some redress and I never received a response

I came in and had my pants tapered and taken in by a tall young man, I think his name may have been Brodie? But he was so lovely, efficient and I was able to pick them up by the end of the day! The quality of his work was amazing too, you would have thought that my pants came out of the factory like that! Definitely recommend!

I went back after a terrible experience a few years ago with a school skirt (fabric had been cut and ironed down but not actually stitched in place!). This time it was for a pair of cord pants. The hem is not sewn straight, cotton not colour matched and there is a twist in the cuff that pulls the cord out of line from the front. Definitely not going back.

Unsatisfied with what is supposed to be simple alterations to dress straps. They created a new seam instead of following the exisitng which has resulted in a square patch below the collar bone with clearly gathered material underneath. Making it obvious it has been altered. This is a $650 dress for a wedding which I splurged on as I knew I could re-wear. They also charged for four straps based on my receipt. The dress simply has two.
