Amazing food and amazing service!Love this restaurant! Beautiful plates and utensils, with pleasent surrounds.Cranky chicken KNOWS how to make deliciously crunchy chicken that is moist and full of flavour.Highly recommend getting the platter so you can try multiple flavors in 1 sitting!Now my favourite restaurant in Hastings!

What a fantastic place to have in Hastings. The chicken was so good - nice and juicy, full of flavour and the sweet chilli sauce was perfect with more than enough for all the chicken. The boneless wings were so good and the coating kept the good crispy texture all the way home and until the last bite. Chips were the same, good crunch with soft middle, didn't taste of oil, well seasoned and the tomato sauce was so tasty.The service was great too, very friendly and warned early on there would be a wait of 20 minutes. This food is well worth that wait, and it wasn't anywhere near that long. Absolutely recommended.

Customer service is great including the food. I'm more of a chicken lover and the first time I went to Cranky Chicken, I loved it! Went even back again the same week. There are flavors which you can choose and the chicken is crispy! Flavourful in every bite.

This place is really delicious! The best chicken restaurant in New Zealand. Soy garlic and Sweet Chilly are the best. All the staff are friendly. You won't regret it if you go here!

I am from Korea and the taste is very similar to BBQ chicken, which is one of the famouse brands in Korea. Due to the inflation, the cost has increased in even Korea and also I had BBQ chicken in New york Korean town, which was about over USA$40 during biz trip..I got shcoked..Compare to that, it is still good price and the taste is too good. I love soy galic as best of best and Tteokbokki!! Two thumbs up!

Cranky chicken has amazing Korean Fried Chicken. My friends and I also enjoy the Ttokboki, the kimari, and the japchae. They all taste very delicious.The people who work here are also very nice and give great recommendations for the drinks. They are warm and welcoming.The only down side is that it is pricey but since it's the only Korean fried chicken place I can understand why it's priced that way. I have recommended this place to many people and most of them have said they too enjoy the food.

Best korean food in Hawke's Bay. Never had anything like Teobkoki was lost for words. The chicken platter was amazing with three different flavors. Service is very good and friendly staff good value for money.

I wanted to have boneless chicken.Never mind☆ taste good.Oh I ordered whole size but one piece of chicken was missing:(Can I have extra piece next time? Haha
