dealing with Mighway was easy and a lot cheaper than the big rental companies. Mighway is the book a batch" of campervans so you deal with the owners of the vehicle. Mine were lovely people who were happy to drop off and pick up the van. They were not super mechanically inclined and we dealt with some mechanical issues on the trip

The whole Mighway experience was very rewarding, initially the first camper we hired cancelled 2 days before our intended departure, through no fault of anyone, a mechanical issue, fortunately I was able to find another and my first payment we reimbursed very quickly. The couple we hired the camper from in Tauranga were delightful could not do more to help us, there to ask questions and trouble shoot when required. All in all we had an awesome time, we are sure to do it again.

Our experience with Mighway Campervan hire was brilliant! questions were answered as soon as possible and all answers were direct and to the point. The Van we hired was immaculate everything including the kitchen sink was there. The bedding pillows and cushions were plentiful and most of all the vehicle was so easy to drive. Thank you to both Glenn and Shirley for the use of their motorhome. It drove beautifully as we adventured down the East Coast of the North Island. The videos that clearly explained how to use the motorhome were great to view prior to departure and everything we needed was available with the motor home itself. Even though we travelled in June we were warm and super comfortable. We would highly recommend this motorhome to others.

Hired a camper through Mighway, that was Mighway Managed" - the owner lives overseas and obviously pays Mighway to manage their asset on behalf.Despite getting confirmation the night before that the camper would be ready to pick up from the Christchurch depot... I was met by some nice young fellas from another company who had know idea what I was there for. They said there were no staff from Mighway working (Tuesday) and weren't aware of the booking.They kindly sorted it for me (around their own customers... thanks fellas!). Took 2 hours for them to find the camper and prepare it to an acceptable standard.Great idea putting consumers in touch with RV owners

We found Mighway was the best deal available and it was super convenient to pick up in Rosedale. The staff at Rosedale RV Centre were really helpful and explained the motorhome thoroughly and clearly. We had to call the helpline a couple of times to explain some operational issues but it was sorted quickly. The motorhome was in excellent condition, really easy to drive, and made our adventure so enjoyable. We would happily use Mighway again, and plan to! No hassles. Very grateful for our experience.

We hired our motorhome in Auckland through Camplify in early-mid April 2023.During pick up we were not shown how to use the main features of the motorhome. Instead we were advised to look up a video online, as the person conducting the induction were not familiar with the particular motorhome.The first night was the worst. One of the beds was broken and not useable; the heating, cooker and hot water wasn't working; and the fridge which was turned on by the company was also not working. We ended up having to throw out perishable groceries; eat snacks and have a cold shower.We called roadside assist 2-3 times, who were limited in what they were able to help with regarding the motorhome features, but did manage to help get the bed down to a useable position. The advice was that the electrics may have been shorting and the controls were very sensitive which was triggering constant errors.The rest of the trip was much the same. The key issues for us were:the motorhome was not brand new as per the advertisement.one of the beds was brokenthe fridge only worked sometimesthere was no hot water. Not once did we manage to have a hot shower in the motorhome.the heating only worked oncethe gas cooker didnt work all the time.We spent $3082 for the 7-day hire, not to mention the $3000 in flights to get there.The motorhome was not as advertised, and the basic/critical features were not functional during our hire period.Camplify offered a $100 voucher off our next booking for our troubles. It is very unlikely we will be using Camplify again.We have escalated the matter with Camplify and requested a partial refund as they were not able to deliver on what they advertised/promised. It's been 11days and Camplify are yet to respond.Failing a response and resolution we will escalate further through the appropriate channels.Camplify were difficult to contact during our hire period for assistance, and also after the hire.I think the idea of Camplify is sound, however the poor service and what seems to be the lack of accountability and communication really fails the company.

Mighways customer service was amazing! Our campervan broke down not far from our destination, we rung Mighway and they were responsive and very helpful. I would recommend making sure you get the best insurance cover because it saved our trip, if we didn’t have that it would’ve been a disaster. Our campervan itself left a bit to be desired but that’s the owners issue not Mighway. We will absolutely be using them to book again and will do so will fill confidence in ther service.

We had been looking for a nice motorhome to experience this type of travel. Many websites were not that friendly and then we came across Mighway. We were fortunate enough after applications were made, to be selected to hire a 6 berth motorhome owned by a Rotorua couple Mana and Katarina. This was in our mind ideal as we had room (with just the two of us) to have a bed made up all the time rather than unmaking the bed to access the table etc.The motorhome we hired was named Te Arawa and delivered to our door by the owners. After about 15 minutes of general 'getting to know each other' chat that left us feeling like we had meet old friends. The hand over was very smooth and easy, we felt comfortable (as much as you can) and excited with the new adventure ahead. Mana and Katarina left us with if you have any issues

I have hired a 6berth motor home via mighway. The motor home has been maintained well and had a great experience driving around South Island. Mighway’s service can be improved as most of the time it wasn’t easy to reach out to their service centre during the trip. The reason to give 2 star is I wasn’t happy with their after servicing, I paid the road user charge based on the km driven and after 8 days of dropping motorhome I received an invoice saying you have to pay $500 for missing parts. The invoice they have sent hasn’t got any details and they have deducted the money within next 48hours. I replied to their email asking for which part and I got a response after 4days saying that a hubcap is missing. I was disappointed and asked them for hub cap you have charged $500 and I have got a repose which wasn’t clear. So I have decided to not hire motorhome via mighway as I felt their after service is poor and more focussed on money. So just be careful when you hire a motorhome via mighway.
