Grand Ceylon
We really like the inside of the restaurant. The whole decoration is kind of wooden, rustic. It's a bit dark but you will get used to it. The salads are pretty much Kiwi style. The meat section has limited choices. The lamp Rogan Josh has lots of bones and fat. The devil fish has bones as well. Please be very careful. Only two items for desert.

Hidden gem in Papatoetoe! Great aesthetic and friendly staff! Perfect place if you want a taste of Sri Lankan food!First time visiting for a family event, had plenty of food for a very good price! Rotis are amazing and simple menu!

This place is so good, the decor is beautiful and the food is just delicious!!! Service was great very accommodating. We had the curries chicken and Beef with garlic roti.

Nice restaurant if you want to taste Sri Lankan food. Not far from the city located in a good neighborhood where you can find plenty of street parking. Offer buffet options with veg and non veg options. I myself with a couple of my friends enjoyed their Sri Lankan buffet.

Was really quiet on a friday evening. I was the first customer around 7pm. Not bad for a 28 dollar buffet. Fish was so hard and tasted frozen and hardly any juice in it. Drinks were okish. Roti was hard and dessert was also just ok.. Egg kothu, Briyani, salads and chicken gravy was really good. Lot of room for improvement.

If you want to taste delicious authentic Sri Lankan food, Grand Ceylon is the place. Buffet on Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday. Beautiful cozy environment and nice food together will give you a heavenly experience. Done in and takeaway both available but I recommend Dine in, specially the buffet. I recommend Grand Ceylon Restaurant for your next meal out.

You must try the Sri Lankan buffet from Saturday to Sunday. Prices are reasonable although the variety is quite less.
