The Cheesecake Shop Ormiston

Bought eggless black forest cake, it was not fresh at all. Really hard, stale and tasteless. Even the cream icing didn't taste good. I will feed it to the birds. Not sure if I will continue to order from here.

We stopped by to grab a cake for a party. They have a large selection of different cakes which is similar to the other branches. It was easy enough to go in and grab a cake. They also had other things available like small treats and candles. There was also an electronic ordering machine but we didn't use it.

I have tried several of their cakes now. I don't think I can shell out $50 for dry cakes anymore. Maybe there were no eggs in it? But it was dry and not dense at all. It was like eating air. I got the tiramisu this time, hardly any flavour. It was just not worth the price at all. I can make a box mix cake myself at home with better results. I need to find another bakery that uses real icing, like buttercream. Cheesecake Shop cakes may look fancy, but their substance is disappointing every time. If any of you all know what a walmart sheet cake is, that would be my ideal cake. If you know where to find one, I'm interested.EDIT: The contact link you sent in your reply says 404 Page Not Found." Really bad experience, I’ve never pre ordered a cake from here but I decided to this one time. When I opened it, the lettering was done on the edge of the cake and the writing was like a 5 year old. I could have done a better job myself. It looked so ugly. I went and bought another cake from elsewhere. Surely the people you hire should have basic cake writing skills?

A regular visitor of Cheese cake shop in the Botany region. Yesterday ordered on the recommendation of a staff there that Double Choc Strawberry is one of the best cakes but it was nothing other than a complete disappointment. Tasteless, stale sponge and the not fresh at all.It hurts when you bought something but not liked by the family and it ends up in rubbish. Called the shop just to report, was mistaken I’m asking for refund or any future discount - not at all. Just improve the taste and know your product and the way to describe it.A month ago had Rainbow Cake from this shop which was good and tasty.Won’t return to this shop anymore.

I bought a carrot cake yesterday which was very dry and didn’t seem like a carrot cake. I have bought carrot cakes from other cheesecake shops before and it has been nice. I rang today to complain about it and poor staff was relaying my message to the manager, Rachel and I could clearly hear her response. She said the cake was freshly baked that’s why it is like that. When I said I have bought carrot cakes from other cheesecake shops and it has never been like that, i heard her saying that if I’m not happy with it, bring it back. I asked to speak to her directly, only to be told she is busy. I had lots of visitors last night and had to serve the cake as that was the only desert I had. All my guests felt the same way as I felt about this cake. But even if I had any leftovers, I wouldn’t have taken it back as I didn’t like the tone of the way Rachel was responding. I could feel the treatment I would have got if I did go back. She seemed very rude and I will not recommend anyone to Ormiston cheesecake shop.

Worst costmer service.not helpful at all staff ...and also out of stock stuff..Cheesecake shop pakuranga totally opposite service and staff even though ormistion is closer will definitely not go there or recommend anyone..

I am always 100% happy with the cakes and cheese cakes from this shop. Today I bought the pecan - coffee torte. It was light and fluffy. Excellence indeed; consistently provide a quality service.Thank you Ormiston Cheesecake Shop.

Cake looked unfinished. I have always bought from Pakuranga Cheesecake & it has always been a good experience. Unfortunately, this cake was a disaster. As the cake was cut it was falling apart. Even the sides were not coated with cream
