There was a pink lady eating gingernut biscuits on and old yacht (hine hau) boat looked rough but she looked happy. It smelt funny there too

Kawatiri walkway is a great place to view bird life while exercising your dog. Also you can try your luck from the fishing platform. During a storm try surfing at Shingle Beach. The walkway is a great place to make new friends.

The tide was high but not much surf in the harbor. Saw the ship Kawatiri arrive and then turn around much to the delight of my son. This area is looking lovely well done everyone. The recycled railway sleepers for raised gardens and paths to the sheltered seating.A huge well done.

Alot of renovations have taken place over the last cple years, and it's a beautiful place to go, an a fun walking path over the water that leads to cool walking tracks
