The color of the lake changes depending on the location of the sun in the morning and afternoon. The morning is pretty and the afternoon is beautiful

No matter where you drive in the South Island your always be amazed with the amazing views that are worth a quick stop. Lake Pukaki sure had stunning views. Views il forever dream about. Worth the stop and the back drop is amazing.

Lake Pukaki is the largest of three roughly parallel alpine lakes running north–south along the northern edge of the Mackenzie Basin on New Zealand's South Island. The others are Lakes Tekapo and Ohau.It's so nice to see this bule water lakes.

Awesome views here of Lake Pukaki . Though it was quite an overcast weather today but the views here are still quite breathtaking. Worth a stop, have a picnic or simply stretch your legs and walk around a bit for some fresh air and refresh your mind. Worth a stop indeed.

Lake Pukaki Viewpoint
One of the most stunning views that I have ever seen! The reflection of the mountains from the calm water is mesmerising. Such a peaceful and calm place to just sit and bask in the natural beauty. If you are near here then you absolutely cannot miss out on stopping here even if it is just for a few minutes, you will not regret it!
