Dive Zone Whitianga

We loved our experience with this dive companie / shop. We have felt so welcome to them and got answers to all of our questions about the trip. First day in the shop we booked the trip and bought one dive watch where I got so much information and help from the stuff which was awesome.At the next day we went out for two dives at great mercury Island. Gear was really good quality and stuff was so patience to choose the right gear for everybody especialy with the wetsuits. On the boat we felt safe all the time and got some interesting information about the area and had an awesome fun time with them. I recently had the pleasure of taking a PADI dive certification course at Dizezone Whitianga, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From start to finish, the team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease as soon as I arrived.The vessels used for open water off-shore diving were truly amazing. They were well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary safety gear. I felt completely safe throughout the entire experience, which allowed me to focus on having fun and enjoying the dives.Speaking of having fun, I had an absolute blast during the course. Tony, the instructor, was amazing. He was patient, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. He made the learning process fun and engaging, and I came away feeling confident in my abilities as a diver.I also have to give a shoutout to the skipper of the vessel, Captain Craig, and Darrel, the owner/organizer of the course. Both of these guys went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had a great time and felt comfortable throughout the entire experience.Overall, I cannot recommend Dizezone Whitianga enough. The team was fantastic, the vessels were amazing, and I had an absolute blast during the course. If you're looking for a great place to get your PADI certification, look no further than Dizezone Whitianga. Five stars all around!

Got my Open Water Certificate with Dive Zone. Really professional and nice instructors. Thank you Julia and Eli, you are really patient and helped me lot. Will definitely go back for other trainings or dive trips :)

Could not rate this outfit higher - outstanding group of people who go out of their way to create a quality experience. I did two boat charters and loved it.

Very disappointing with this dive shop. We visited the shop and provided details of our diving experiences and contact number. The person at the counter said we will be contacted to go out diving on Monday or Tuesday before the large school group came through. We did not receive any phone call :(We were there on 7 Dec and was supposed to go diving on 9 Dec 2021.We were in Whitianga for the week and missed out on diving:(

Had a wicked time yesterday with the Dive Zone whitianga team!Great atmosphere on the boat, great dives, great team!All were very knowledgeable; our instructor Brody was mindful of everyone's diving abilities and made it a safe enjoyable experience; Ethan on the boat was supervising and helping out with setting up gear and warming us up with a coffee; etc.Everyone on the boat was stoked, wether on a tour or doing a course.Thanks again!

I'm surprised at the negative review on here. I have had nothing but top quality service from the entire team. They are all energetic and love their work and were very accommodating to me as a beginner diver. I have since dived at several places in NZ and Australia and I haven't met a crew that was more friendly or helpful.

Great experience. So glad we chose Dive Zone Whitianga to get our open water certs. Dive Zone made it a truly memorable experience. Fun and rewarding. Highly recommend and thank you Dive Zone!
