Wow. Some of the best pizza I have ever had. Definitely the best meal I’ve had in NZ so far. The Veggie Pizza and the Puttenesca are fire!!!!

We were camping near Blenheim and we wanted some pizza for our two large families. We went to town expecting a restaurant but found the food truck. The menu items looks so good that we went for it. We were not disappointed.This was last January and it is now May and I'm still thinking about this pizza. Sincerely the best pizza I've ever eaten (and I lived in New York City and San Francisco). The toppings are amazing and the dough is next level. I wish they'd move to Dunedin so I could eat here all of the time. Just so so so so so so so good.Please let us know if you ever come near Dunedin. We will eat so much of your pizza.

I've been hesitant to review Minghettis because they're amazing and the chances of me securing a pizza decrease with every positive review and their waxing popularity. Then again, there's no sense in selfishly hoarding the few good things in this New Zealand life and so, I'll somewhat reluctantly share this well kept secret: this is the best pizza in New Zealand.There's no comparison. I've thought quite a bit as to why this may be and my conclusion is, the owner's passion for crust is what sets them apart. Perhaps his Italian heritage plays into it but his love for every pie shines through every bite.Minghetti's offers authenticate wood fired pizza using high quality ingredients. The thin sourdough base is light and soft with just enough chewy resistance to balance the texture. The sauce is a welcome compliment, not too much, not sweet, not too acidic.They offer a fair amount of variety as well as plant based pizzas. This innovation is inspiring - although sadly vegan pesto isn't on offer.The biggest disappointment about Minghettis is it's only open Monday through Friday between 4-8 PM. His pizza is rightfully on a pedestal and I'm grateful he opened at all (even though I miss them with all my heart on Saturday nights).So there you have it folks, finally a place where a slice is as magnificent as you can dream.

Be sure to order by phone in advance - you don't want to miss out. Their baked goods like bread and pretzels are awesome. There is no better pizza on the top of the South Island. Up there with the best pizza in New Zealand. Minghettis is great and super friendly people too. Good luck guys - you deserve every success.

Absolutely stoked I found this food truck on my short trip to Blenheim. Authentic Italian woodfired pizzas, with clearly fresh and good quality ingredients on a delicious pizza base. Lovely family too! Definitely one to check out.

This is one of those special places that you rarely experience - 5 stars does not say enough about how great this place is. Amazing sourdough pizza, that has a chewy wholesome taste, and authentic delicious toppings. There are often different desserts and specials which are fun to try. They clearly love what they do and it really shows with their food and menu. This place is the best.

Delicious pizza! So good that we‘re coming back Sunday for the panettone at the farmer’s market. Can’t wait to taste it.
