Boar & Blade Wynyard Quarter

I’m disappointed that I came all the from North Shore to try Boar & Blade Wynyard Quarter. I heard great things about them from my mates, but as soon as I walked in one of the barbers asked if I had an appointment. I said no then proceeded to ask if I needed one to get a haircut and they said yes. So basically I couldn’t get a haircut when there’s 3 barbers in store clearly 2 of them were free and was ready to cut hair but needed an appointment for a 30 minute haircut. I usually do walk ins so I’m not use to booking appointments for men’s haircuts. They could’ve told me to at least wait as they didn’t look busy at all. I’m just disappointed that I had to travel far for a good quality haircut

The guys are great here. Consistently high quality. You'll generally need to book in advance. Cory is my go to but I've never been disappointed with any of the haircuts I've had from the guys.

These guys are awesome! I came here based on a recommendation from a couple of mates and was definitely impressed with there service!I have seen Chris Swain for a while now and I definitely won't be going anywhere else. The team at Boar and Blade Wynyard quarter are super experienced and are pretty handy with the tools and provide some great banter! I appreciate the quality cuts! Cheers team!

Decent hair cut and trim but $80 is very high.

Maybe the best haircut I've had in years! Location is a bit remote though.

Only place I will get a haircut, have been a regular for the last 7 years. All great fellas with excellent service and barbering skills. James is my go to, but all are excellent at what they do. Cheers

Best barbers in Aucklad. Friendly guys, good banter and great cuts. Jamie is a bloody legend and I always make sure to book for a few months in advance

My first time visiting this barbershop was a Monday morning at 9am. Needed a general trim. Great place, great cut, great guys. Gentlemen was very personable and we had a good yarn about life. Will be going back post lockdown
