Tooth Fairy Dental - Mt Maunganui

Lovely helpful friendly staff. Always diffident visiting the dentist but such caring lovely staff makes the visit pleasant.I've been with Tooth Fairy for many years and have been pleased with the care they take here.

I called Tooth Fairy first thing this morning from a recommendation from my GP as my son had chipped his two front teeth at school the night before. Tooth Fairy Dental were fully booked but created an apppointment for our emergency and fixed my sons teeth the same day covered by acc. Thank you to the team and Dr Alex Booth for your exceptional service and speed.

We are currently in NZ on holiday from the UK and in Mt Maunganui for the day when my wife split her tooth and needed to see a dentist urgently. We called into the Tooth Fairy and explained the problem and although they had no emergency appointments left for the day, the receptionist was so helpful and spoke to Alex the dentist, who saw my wife immediately.She had x-rays, injections and treatment all within an hour and a half. I am a very nervous participant in dental care and so was very apprehensive about having to go . My usual dentist was away , which made me worse than ever . Anyway the whole experience was positive . As I am disabled, it has previously been quite difficult to gain access to the clinic . This time a receptionist helped me to get my disability scooter through the door .Before I went into the examination room I was welcomed by whom I thought was the dental assistant, but it was actually the Dentist Alex . Because I was so nervous , I wasn’t listening properly and when I went into the surgery, I realised it was actually the Dentist . This made me feel appreciative and it was a nice touch.I needed to have a crown fitted to my right front tooth . Everything was clearly explained to me about the steps needed to be taken in the process of fitting the cap . Before the injection was inserted, numbing solution was first put on the gum and the injection inserted just a little at first and then a few minutes later the entire injection of local anaesthetic . Because of the procedure was to be done on one of my front teeth, it was quite a sensitive area and although initially quite tender worked out well. A temporary filling was inserted to last the next two weeks . This was the first part of the whole procedure over !The second part was inserting and securing the final finished cap . This was completed efficiently and professionally .Thank you to everyone involved in my dental experience from Alex the Dentist, the dental assistant, receptionists etc . I have had terrible experiences with dental treatment in the past but when I had no option but to go I booked online with the tooth fairy and it was new years eve. Well this was a totally new experience for me from the front desk to the dental chair it was just unbelievably wonderful so I have found my dental service and am more then happy to recommend it to anyone like me with a bad past time. It can be really daunting booking a dental appointment, especially with knowing that you have work to do and you're new to the city!Everything about my experience with Tooth Fairy was excellent; easy booking, great staff and a smooth, pain-free appointment. I was pretty scared about having a tooth removed but Dr Alex Booth made me feel comfortable and did the procedure super quick and I didn't experience any pain afterwards. Prices were reasonable.Will def continue using this practice!

Warm, friendly front desk staff at the Mount (Belinda & Baelea). Fast efficient, service. I was able to get a same day booking after work for an emergency extraction. Dr Alex Booth is amazing, flawless extraction with no aftercare issues at all. Great price for excellent service. Thank you Tooth Fairy Team, I highly recommend you to any and all looking for exceptional dental care, much appreciated.

I recently had my regular annual check up and hygienist appt at Mount Maunganui.Sadly my dentist is away at the moment so I saw another member of the Tooth Fairy team. Kevin was just as pleasant and thorough as Tom. Very reassuring and the visit was as previously experience, as pleasant as a dentist visit can be.None of us like to go to the dentist but when you do, it is an added bonus to be treated by courteous staff who genuinely have your dental health and overall health at heart. My hygienist was again as gentle as ever, and I left feeling my mouth was lovely and fresh.If you look after your teeth, they look after you. The team at Tooth Fairy Dental believe in that too and help you achieve excellent oral health. A good measurement of customer satisfaction is the friends and family test" and as you can guess
