Best fish and chips in Takapuna by a mile. Perfect crunchy chips and fish batter. Generous fish portions and the price is good, prime Auckland prices but I’ve gotten much worse quality elsewhere and paid a lot more. Never more than a 10min wait and the staff are amazing. Will always go here first

We made a phone order & on arrival they were just starting to cook our oysters. The fresh rock oysters were individually ladled into the batter then into the deep fryer. I noted that they used timers as well to check on the cook. Oil is clean. And the attention to the preparation & care taken in the cooking is noticeable in the final presentation & eating. The oysters were delicious not over cooked as were the snapper & lovely chips. We enjoyed our lunch.

Their fish and chips special is really tasty but the chips are on the minimal side. It does take quite a while to get the order prepared so take that into consideration when ordering. We ordered when it was quite period. I would love to try the snapper next time around.

Pretty nice fish n chips here. We had the crumbed gurnard, it was a tasty crumb we've not experienced before. Everything wasn't quite as crispy as we're used to at our local, but definitely just fine and edible and not soggy.

do not recommend the garlic aioli cheese chips, it was $8.50 for a large but there was basically no cheese and only the sauce on top so the chips underneath had no flavour. the chicken burger was alright. the hoki fish was a bit too soggy with oil :/ each scoop of chips are a decent portion. would go again but probably just for normal chips

impressive A-grade shop. Excellent chips and kumara chips; 1 scoop suits 2 people; very generous fish portions - crisp batter, not greasy. Very good battered oysters. Friendly masked staff.

Ordered a burger, a piece of fish, some kumara chips, squid rings, and chicken nuggets. The food was good but a bit overpriced. Fish, squid rings, and chicken nuggets were tiny. The order also took about 35 mins.
