On Friday I came here with a few mates and it was incredible flavors and service. The atmosphere is similar to being in someone's home and enjoying their unique and exquisite artifacts of Eastern Africa. The Woman running the restaurant was so kind hearted and helpful. The food was delightful, only a couple options but its understandable for such a small place. I hope this restaurant grows into something more. Coffee also was sweet and strong, really good! Thanks for such a great night!

The coffee is real authentic Ethiopian coffee, the vegan food is great and they have traditional coffee ceremonies often.

Great food! If you're a fan of Ethiopian food or trying it for the first time, your won't be disappointed. The combo platter allows you to try multiple dishes, but the Shiro wat is (in my opinion) the best. Sooooo good! The owner is a very nice guy too. Just he and his wife run the place. Will definitely return thy next time I'm in Wellington

Cute place, computer wasn't on, not a legitimate version of windows, printer was set to default colour printing. Guys weren't super friendly either, nor was the coffee part open. Overall, meh.

Huge portion sizes for an insanely reasonable price, good food that’s great for vegan/vegetarian options. And a cool artsy atmosphere with comfy couches that make you feel at home. Oh and nice strong Ethiopian coffee too!

We went here for a work dinner and loved it, so authentic and Joel (I think he is the owner) is the nicest guy ever and really looked after us. Very tasty food and guaranteed to be more than enough for even the hungriest people.

This is the place in Wellington you try vegetarian food. The chefs done magic with humble ingredients, in true Ethiopian ways. It was my first time, the portion size was generous, price way too reasonable , ambience peaceful and food delicious, still to try non veg preparations, but certainly a place worth visit.
