Every time!!! I had enough!! Called 9.30am asked for URGENT($40 extra) repeat prescription for my ADHD(!!!) medication, as per usual no response for hours then after 4 different conversations since 2pm, phones got switched off at 4.40 and I’m without my medication!?!? Thanks Devonport Health Centre for looking after my health so well. I’m only writing this review as it’s 3rd the similar thing is happening and someone at management level needs to look into the mess you have there.

I recently joined this GP practice and I am utterly amazed by their friendliness and how well they have looked after me as a patient. Dr. Brad, the nurses and reception staff are all wonderful, caring and professional. I highly recommend this practice.

Thanks SO much to the nursing team for a professional, efficient second jab where I felt confident I was in good hands and put at ease. I'd had a very bad first jab elsewhere. The practice manager who answered the reception phone explained their processes succinctly but also was understanding about my first jab issues, so had a nurse call me before my appointment (and I'm not an enrolled patient). Everyone at DH was empathetic and are making an amazing effort for their patients and community. Highly recommend getting vaccinated there!

I am not a patient with DH, nor would I recommend it. A couple of weeks back I was after a COVID swab (as a weekly requirement by my job) as my own GP was closed. I search my next closest place on health point.There are two boxes to tick either “patients only” or “anyone can access” so it’s obvious which one I ticked. DH Appeared as a public location, so I called and was rudely hung up on by the receptionist as soon I said “no I’m not a patient, but….” I didn’t even get the chance to finish my sentence, which was just that I saw them available on the health point website. I didn’t want to call back after that, so my partner called to book me an appointment…and then he to was hung up on mid conversation, We were also both perfectly polite on the phone too. He called back and we got another receptionist who put us on hold then reluctantly gave us an appointment.If they had just said I was misinformed and they weren’t able give me a swab then so be it, I would have just searched the next closest place. I have never been treated so rudely on the phone before. Instead of scaring people away try being friendly, you are the first face people see or hear on the phone, and fist impressions really count.It’s a pity I even had to give one star…

Had my 2nd covid-19 vaccine here, would highly recommend. I had to change my booking several times and the reception staff were extremely accommodating, on the day the process was efficient and made it a quick easy experience. Overall great service, thanks to the team for helping keep our community safe. Cheers

DH merged a few small and fantastic local doctors clinics to create one large awful one. The good doctors left. The staff don't know what's going on, service is depersonalised, and you still can't even get appointments.

Thank you for the great service when I recently came for my Covid vaccination. From the friendly and efficient reception staff right through to the very professional and caring nurses and assistants during the vaccination itself - I was very impressed and would highly recommend the team.

Nice clean clinic, very professional staff. I felt genuinely cared for. The nurses in particular were the best I've been treated by. My children, who are usually nervous at the doctors, where comfortable, calm and relaxed. Thanks Devonport Health.

I having nothing but kinds words to say about the staff at this practice. My family (4 generations) have been cared for by many of the doctors, nurses and reception staff here. I arrived at the DHC just as they were closing for the evening. The lovely nurse Helen took me in anyway and provided a truly lovely experience. I was in a lot of pain, a bit woozy and quite uncomfortable, she did everything she could to make me feel as good as possible at that time. I've been back every few days to get dressings changed and the other nurses Ursula and Sarah have been lovely, gentle and caring. Thank you DHC team <3
