Botany Medical and Urgent Care

Local clinic for some simple medications.Services are fine but the management system can be better.

We went to see a GP on Saturday at 1.30pm (it was urgent). The receptionist told us that they are done for the day. Note that they are closed at 4pm on weekends.This is very unacceptable. Medical centers should have sympathy when it comes to urgent cases or even every case they are dealing with. Botany Medical and Urgent Care has shown me that they have no sympathy towards their patients at all. Very disappointed in their service. Very disappointed in their morals.

Awful experience and will be looking for a new family doctor. Every single time my father has gone into this clinic we have been charged different amounts ranging from $20-35 and when the receipt is given the services are not itemised so you wonder what is happening with what you are really being charged for. The new receptionist is incredibly rude and condescending to their patients when questioned about the fees. Would not recommend anyone to go here. Your only saving grace is Dr. Salim.

First time visiting this clinic - overall very great welcoming experience.The nurse who saw me was very kind, helpful, and humorous. She made the consultation go by very smoothly and helped me ease up.The doctor I saw was very kind and professional. He was able to quickly identify the issue and prescribed the suitable medicine for me.This is one of the best experiences I've had at a clinic, I will definitely be coming back.

I had the absolute worst nurse to deal with over the phone, the call was only for 33 seconds. I came here with my 3 year old who had a fever cough so we were told to wait in the carpark. Got a call from the nurse I think named RJ, saying she's calling from the doctors and she's a nurse blah blah and asked what happened, I just saidsince yesterday my daughter has" when she rudely I must say very rudely with attitude said "yeah what happened ". I then confronted her telling her there's no need for her to be rude to which she said I'm not being rude I'm asking what happened? I told her well I was telling her what has happened when she rudely interrupted me. She then says I'm sorry I'm going to get another nurse to call you and hung up. Absolutely disgusting and privileged behavior."

Walked in there at 4:55pm with my 6month old son, there is no one waiting at the desk and then a lady pops out and asks ….”are you wanting to see a doctor “ yes I do want to see a Doctor my 6 month old is having trouble with his breathing” The problem I have is there website says 6:00pm close my son was having trouble with his breathing and was turned away because their doctor was booked even though they are an urgent care……. No one looked at my son before we were sent away, we were just told we had to go up the road

I had to come in the last 2 days for a rash that developed from an allergy which was agonizingly itchy and was spreading quickly. I was seen almost immediately by the nurse and doctor and it was an overall pleasant experience. The nurse I saw was lovely and smiley! She even gave me advice for my future nursing career :) thank you team!

Wonderful first time experience with this Medical Centre. A short wait time for me, very professional and welcoming from the start. I felt heard when explaining my injury and the Doctor explained everything clearly including my after care. I would recommend this centre.

I will give 0 star but there isn’t this option. Enrolled to this GP and the treatment and service I got is getting worse every time I visit. I know long waiting time is not their fault as it is depending on the number of patients, but the doctors here have got no patience or care on your matter, they will only see you for 2 minutes and rush you off and next. Visited yesterday and Dr Shatha was the only GP available, waited for an hour and when it’s my turn, she stood there and listened to what I said, before I finish talking she said she will give me a prescription and then quickly walked away. Hello?! I can see what you printed and put at the front counter, when you remind patients that each consultation is 15mins max for 1 main concern, make sure you as a GP deliver the same thing too. Can’t you at least let me sit in a room, discuss my concern with you and let me know what to do? Seriously so disappointed. Please improve the way you treat a patient, we are here because we need professional advise, not here to pay for nothing.

RUN AWAY FOR YOUR LIFE!!! worst GP's ever , specially the clueless Dr.Salim. he contradict his diagnoses and tell you he will get back after taking a specialist opinion but he never does. Save ur self, time and health and go somewhere else.
