Great spot for an overnight camp. Quiet area with great toilets and a wide open park area. A short walk to the fantastic Woodbury Cafe - dog friendly (clean water bowls, “pet parking”).

This is a great place to stop on the way to inland Canterbury. Less that 2 hours easy drive from Christchurch, conveniently close to Geraldine and well off the main road so it's blissfully quiet. There's loads of space for kids and dogs to play. The simple facilities are well looked after by the local community that asks for a donation and certainly deserves it.

What a great spot to Freedom Camp. Happily paid the recommended donation. Great facilities. Loved the atmosphere and the locality. Loved the history. Walking trail, historical buildings, a cemetery and a great little cafe. Excellent work. Lots of flora in bloom.

A nice area for a quick stop.$10 donation other towns should follow this example. Toilets cleaned by a nice gent with his patient dog.

A hidden gem, a great place to park up your Caravan or Campervan for a night and an amazing cafe a 5 min walk away. Ask about the history of the Woodbury store the Cafe is now located in. Fascinating.

Perfect perfect perfect.....quiet lil sleepy spot for campers and freedom campers alike. Simple toilet facility's and a donation box on entry. Recommended for a quiet nights sleep

Beautiful setting with good facilities for campervans. Clean toilets, running water, BBQ area, children's playground. Pleasant walking track in the bush surrounding the domain. I haven't personally used the hall.
