We had a really nice waitress! But sadly the rest of the staff fell short..we all ordered dinner and even though we were not aware meals apparently only come out when they are ready , our whole table had finished eating , before we received ours ! We would have been waiting a good 40 min for our main. A sorry would have gone a long way but instead we got just an excuse. For this reason alone ... We will not Eat here again !

Absolutely wonderful food and the taste is deliciousHonestly I could eat so much of it.Although the food is nice I had a waiter argue with my friend about not having a physical copy of ID as she had 2 photographs of her ID and passport showing she was over 18. The fact was that it was fine if the man was just doing his job but the way he argued with us was rude and he was not nice about it.The man also didn't ask the whole time whether my friend wanted a non alcoholic drink!

Master Kong is a great place to go for dinner. They have a good range of cocktails including taptails, which are a little cheaper but were really tasty. The small plates are actually pretty big and filling, we got 3 of them between two of us and that was plenty of food. It would be a great place to go with a larger group of people.I would definitely go back.

A well laid out and decadent restaurant.I had chosen a Pork Belly Mee Goreng, it was delicious, the pork was melt in your mouth and the noodles were impeccable in a beautiful sauce. The price was understandable for the quality of the dish and the atmosphere inside. This was a unique experience that I will be sure to enjoy again.

Have been aiming to eat here again since I first visited about two years ago.Ordered a wide array of dishes, much more than we needed for our table of two but it was all great.Edamame was fried and full of rich burnt buttery flavour (amazing). Roundhouse chicken salad, Pimiento wontons & Bok Choy dumplings were all favourites - the chicken salad was particularly filling & flavourful. The karaage chicken bao was super soft & exactly as you’d expect, & the ceviche was so yummy and spicy but we didn’t expect the fish to be 5 simple slices which made for awkward sharing. Duck fat rice was great value but we were far too full to properly enjoy it, and if I we did the whole thing again the one plate I would forfeit was the Kare Rice which when compared to the Roundhouse salad & ceviche unfortunately seemed to lack as much flavour - but portion was generous & we still took it home for leftovers as lunch.

Everything was wonderful, just a couple of small suggestions. This was my first visit, and its always good if the waitstaff ask if you have been here before. for example there were 2 of us and we both ordered the chicken salad and one steamed veges. The waitperson did say the food was intended for sharing and would come out as cooked. The veges arrived and they were delicious. Then a large salad arrived. We waited a while then as none other appeared, we decided because we had both ordered the same thing perhaps it was 2 combined (made for sharing). Eventually someone asked if we would like any thing else and we asked about the salad. They said it was only one and they did not know we had ordered two. So it is a good idea to read the order back to the customer. And ask if they have been before, because now we know the size of your portions so we'd know they forgot one. looking forward to trying the Peking duck pancakes !

We can't resist a good flambé & the flambé banana with latik coconut caramel & ice cream at Master Kong is perfectly decadent. We've been several times now - for drinks, small bites, lunch, dinner, with a group, as a couple - always knowing to expect a varied Asian-fusion menu & consistently good food. Pictured include the excellent Korean Fried Cauliflower, spicy jackfruit bao, creamy mushroom dumplings, chili oil edamame & refreshing Kong Lager by Fortune Favours.
