We had a very special experience with Joti. She goes above and beyond and produces amazing photos. It was comfortable working with her and she made sure that the output is amazing. She let us be ourselves and captured photos that show our personalities. The photos are cinematic, unique and beautifully done. Looking forward to working with oottum again in the future ❤️

It’s hard for us to put into words how amazing and wonderful our experience was with Joti & Jay at OOTTUM COLLECTIVE. They were so professional and went above and beyond to make us feel so comfortable being in front of the camera which is something we both weren’t used to ourselves.We first worked with them on the engagement shoot which was an amazing experience. We had so much fun and there were lots of laughs along the way too. They really helped set the mood and captured every emotion we had. The pictures turned out stunning.Prior to our big day/week, they went above and beyond to answer any queries and went into depth to explain their whole process of how they week would run. They also made time to visit both our families to explain the process leading up to the big week and understand all the important aspects of each day to make sure the capture every moment. Indian weddings are large as it is, but they made they process a lot easier for us and helped us come up with timelines to make sure everything ran smoothly. During wedding week, they were so understanding, patient and kind and made the whole experience more enjoyable. During the events they also took time out to have mini shoots of both Himesh and I whenever they could to add to our collection. On both the wedding and reception day (being as hectic and overwhelming as it is) they always made us laugh and made us feel at ease in every way – the emotions were high on those day, but they always made we were comfortable. They also took short videos of us whilst the photos were being taken which is another sweet memory to have. On the reception day they helped us to chose and print the photos to display on the table which we appreciated SO much taking that task off our hands.Once we received our package which was personal delivery by OOTTUM, we were blown away. Joti and Joy had collected moments without us knowing which left Himesh and I speechless. The sand where we had our engagement shoot, lyrics from our first dance and dried petals from my bouquet were all sealed in a tiny bottles part of the package. The extra thought and details captured made me so emotional we loved everything about it.They then sat with us and went through the digital images together. – the images were absolutely break taking and brought back so many emotions and memories (Joti and I both got so emotional cried from happy tears), it was all so beautifully thought out. We cannot wait to hang these pictures up which OOTTUM even offered to help us set up and display.Joti and Jays attention to detail is really something else and it really was reflected in every photo -this is what drew us to them in the first place - after seeing their previous work and meeting them we knew we wanted them to shoot our big day which exceeded our highest expectations or anything that we could have every wished for.It was truly the best wholesome experience which words can’t even explain. I’d have to start of with how amazing Joti and Jay are ! Such a humble and patient couple. Meeting someone you do not know for the first time didn’t feel like it with Joti and Jay. Such warm people to gel with. Joti and Jay did a love shoot with us and it was the most incredible experience. They have superb communication skills and the best part was they listened to our recommendations and preferences which was so sweet. You can blindly trust them to make you and your partner or whoever you shoot with, the perfect experience. I would highly recommend this couple, you don’t normally find photographers or videographers seeking so much interest in every little detail to make your shoot so special. Joti and Jay shot our wedding, and at every single stage of the process they went so far above and beyond anything we expected or could have wished for. They were there at every stage of our four-day wedding, encouraging and helping us to organise what was a pretty overwhelming experience for us. For two of the days we only expected them to be there for a couple of hours, but they stayed on until they had captured all the special moments they wanted to, and even brought their kids to the park to play with our families! Joti and Jay's creativity, smiles and attention to details made the event so much easier and more pleasurable for us. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

Joti and Jay shot our pre-wedding 'love shoot' and they did an incredible job! I had been following their photography journey since they were in Canada and was so excited to hear that they had moved to NZ! I had always been in awe of how amazing their photography skills were and felt so blessed to be able to work with them for our pre-wedding shoot. They didn't just take photos, they captured our love story and the essence of who we are, as individuals and as a couple, in the most beautiful way. Joti and Jay are beautiful souls with such a great energy and they made us feel so comfortable during the shoot. They both go above and beyond to create perfect images and memories to last a lifetime, i believe they're currently one of the best in the game and i cannot recommend them enough.

Joti is absolutely a joy to work with! We did our branding shoot for Masala Scents with her and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. She freed my need to remain perfect and the photos turned out PERFECT. She made my crazy workspace look like the most aesthetic workspace beyond anything I could have imagine. I am so lucky to have trusted Joti blindly and received these amazing results.
