We spent most of our honeymoon in New Zealand and were completely blown away. Everything exceeded all expectations and was extremely well organized. Huge thank you to the Fine Tours team for facilitating the itinerary of a lifetime. I couldn't recommend their services enough!

We worked with Nichole. We had a couple of conversations and she planned the perfect trip for us. The accommodations were great, just the kind of places we like to stay. We had some truly amazing experiences, down time when we needed it, activities at the level we requested and we weren't rushed between stops. We had one small hiccup with a flat tire on a Saturday; we called the office and had a replacement ready when we got to Queenstown!It was an expensive and long trip from the US, and we were slightly nervous about having someone make all our plans for us, but we picked the right person to work with. I would recommend Fine Tours New Zealand to anyone looking for the trip of a lifetime!

Fine Tours New Zealand and our tour advisor there (Chelsea Lodge) exceed all of our expectations for professionalism, flexibility, and working with our wishes and financial constraints to customize a wonderful self-drive experience to the South Island.From the very first inquiry, it was clear that Ms. Lodge was eager to work with us, knowledgeable, and provided us with multiple alternatives to find an itinerary that fit our interests and our budget.Once we had settled on an itinerary and had traveled to New Zealand, everything was smooth - the airport and hotel pickups, the scheduled activities, etc. No bad surprises. Every hotel or activity provider expected us, and only once did we have to provide a reservation number. The only surprise were the amazing natural beauty of the country, which surpassed all photos and brochures we had seen prior to arrival.Some other nice touches were a couple of the accommodations. Our budget allowed us for medium-range hotels/lodgings, but our agent was able to book us, in a couple of occasions, in some extremely nice properties without breaking the bank.Of note, Fine Tours New Zealand seems to work with reliable local contractors (e.g., RealNZ) for some of the tours, and we in turn found those activities also to be as advertised." Lydia from Fine Tours New Zealand was brilliant. We requested suggestions for a self drive tour, explaining level of accommodation, places we would like to visit, etc. Lydia came back with a tour that catered for everything we asked for including suggested tours, accommodation, etc. Then we had to change our plans for 3 months, health reasons, Lydia changed everything for us. We didn't have to do anything. We left a bag behind in one town and she organized for it to be sent onto our next accommodation. No charge incurred. We could not fault the service we received and would recommend them to anyone. We would certainly use them again.Thanks for everything.

Fine Tours did an impeccable job at arranging every aspect of our trip! Our travel dates were perfect 2/24/20 - 3/18/20, not too cold and not too hot. Christina was our travel agent at Fine Tours. Christina was patient with the planning our trip. She was very detail oriented and accommodated our every need.During this time period, we stayed at 15 different places - we were moving around quite a bit in order to tour the beautiful country of NZ. Our main focus was the South island; however, we did spend 3 days on the North island.The absolute high light of the trip was the Helihike of the Tasman Glacier. I was a bit concerned that I would not be able to do this due to anxiety and being a bit claustrophobic. Christina took the time to provide me every detail of what to expect from clothing to wear, to weather and including the different maneuvering elements while on the glacier. I was the oldest one on hike (53), but it was definitely the utmost fun. It's an experience that I will never forget. And, thanks to Christina - I made it!We chose to go with a private driver versus touring on a bus. This was the way to go! Kevin was our private driver for about 8 or 9 days straight -he was like a walking encyclopedia. Kevin was well versed on all the history of NZ and such a great welcoming person.During our tour, we never had any incidents! Every driver was on time and waiting for our arrival. Every hotel was magnificent! This was my second time to travel New Zealand, and I will definitely be back. I give Fine Tours 5+ stars, Christina 5+ stars and Kevin 5+ stars. They all clearly LOVE what they do and have a passion for their industry. THANK YOU!

Harriet organised a fabulous overnight trip with Fiordland Expeditions on the Doubtful Sound. We caught Blue Cod and hauled up Crayfish pots crawling with fresh cray. These were then cooked up and served for our dinner, delicious. The following day we were kayaking on the Milford Sound, a memorable experience.

Shelley couldn't have been more helpful initially in putting together a cracking agenda for our short South Island roadtrip. She then took this help to the next level after covid forced 2 trip deferrals. Thanks for the help and support through what must've been a nightmare of a period for you. We'll be back soon!

We travelled on the 9 Day Southern Explorer Self Drive Tour departing 22 March. We booked with Liz Wilson who through-out all our dealings, provided us with exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble & all our communications were answered promptly and professionally. The tour was excellent and the daily distance required to travel between towns was carefully managed and not at all onerous. Hotels were first rate and the cars provided were more than adequate. I cannot speak more highly of Liz and her team and would have absolutely no hesistation at all in recommending them and their company.

Excellent, Enjoyed the tour around the south island including the extras added. Wine tour in Queenstown was absolutely amazing. Our guide Angus, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wines.
