So far so good and I’m having a great experience working with them. I’m just very thankful for the opportunity they’ve given me. Shout out to Kate for always giving a very detailed work information, alloting time to respond to concerns and ensuring everything is alright with me and their client that I’m working with on site.

Always receive first class service from Carlos! Great communication at all times. Carlos keeps you in the loop with temp staffs whereabouts and visits onsite frequently to see how things are going. He genuinely cares about his staff as well as your business.

I am impressed to be a Senior QS since Dec 2020, where Kate introduced me. Kate picked up my Linkedin profile, and she professionally arranged interviews with herself and the project manager. She is an active listener and a people person. Our company is hiring other skilled guys thru Kate and Tech 5. Awesome jobs you guys doing.

Great experience. Tech5 helped me a lot with getting great electrical work experience on the biggest construction project in Auckland at Commercial Bay.Would recommend. They were also heplful in me getting my EWRB hours.

My opinion based on my experience. It is good for backpackers, or such people who don't have labouring experience or any skills in construction industry. I worked in NZ with other reqruiters too, so my rating is relative compared to other companies with same profile. The first was Tech5.Payment (unskilled) in 05/2018:$16.5+8% which is the minimum wage. All competitor recruiters (whom I worked for) payed more than that as starter wage (average $18+8%). For hard and some sense dangerous jobs (like any construction labour is) I think it's a too short wage.Ongoing job:never got from them more than a week long jobs. Weekly 1-2 days on average. I had to text them daily to not get forgotten". That means if I didn't texted them I didn't got job for weeks. I talked to other backpacker/unskilled guys who worked for Tech5 and they got the same problem. So if you want to choose them have more reqruiters at the same time

Probably the best place I’ve worked in. I’ve met so many people from different cultures and ethnicities and got to learn about their experiences and culture. I enrolled as a traffic controller but I made some really good friends in several different companies while being with Tech5.I never felt pressured into anything mainly because there was great communication from Kate Huges who is a senior recruitment consultant at Tech 5. I would definitely recommend working with her as she clearly understands and puts the employees mental and physical health first. Be it day or night, she would make sure you’re safe and not having any issues with the people you’re working for(Though I wish she would take a break once a while). She would arrange things accordingly so it wouldn’t put pressure on you. This was the best experience I’ve had working with her. There was clear communication at all times and if any difficulties occur she would guide you step by step through it. She’s amazing and takes her work seriously.Overall it was fun and it’s really sad I have to leave the company. But in the future I would definitely love to be a part of the team again.
