Height of Dunedin Farm Stay Cottage

I highly recommend Height of Dunedin - it was immaculately clean, the beds were all comfortable and Ngaire went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one with all little details thought of. We travelled with three kids under 5 and it was the perfect location for a family. There are toys and books for little ones and the animals were a highlight! It is very peaceful, but close to Dunedin city centre. It will be out go to when we're travelling down there. Thanks for a great stay!

Hotel quality. Quiet location. 2min from suburbia. Ngaire is a fantastic host (even offered electric blankets when there was a cold snap). Simple kitchen facilities and good bbq. Very clean. Heat pump to heat or cool. We stayed with our 3 kids but it would be great for a couple as well. Will be recommending to family and friends. Email or call Ngaire directly to help a small business.

Perfect set up and amazing hosts. Farm fun for the family and very close to the city.The cottage was clean comfortable and very well appointed. We were a family of 5 - 10 and 8 years and a 6mo baby and everything we needed was there, including lending us a pram.The breakfast foods provided were excellent and the children loved being able to visit and feed the animals! We arrived the day after the birth of a kid (goat) which was pretty special.We will definitely stay here again!

Ngaire was absolutely amazing, she really knew that area and told us of good trips to do. The rooms were lovely and we were even given some food to feed the friendly animals on their property (Deer, goats, chicken and even a malamute!) It felt like a home away from home with added luxuries. Super relaxing and great birdlife. Super close to the city without the noise.

We spent four nights here and really enjoyed it. The accommodation was in an idyllic country setting with goats, sheep and horses in the surrounding paddocks. All this within an easy drive to Dunedin. The cottage itself was very clean and tidy, and the furniture very comfortable.Ngaire our host was welcoming and friendly and provided nice touches like Christmas decorations, fresh fruit, weather forecasts, and supplies to feed the goats and chooks if we wanted to.

This place is heaven on earth. From super friendly hosts, to adorable animals around the accomodation to impeccable cleanliness, everything is perfect. We had an absolute amazing stay, the place is very cozy and the beds are super comfy. Our wee boys truly enjoyed themselves, the 3yo at least, I guess the five month old too… The first thing he did in the morning was checking on the goats and yelling a good morning out of the window. Nghaire, Mark and their boys are amazing and the communication with them was very easy. There were toys, pet food, books and pretty much everything else you will need for a couple days away from home. We will definitely recommend this place to all our friends and will try to come back one day.

Wonderfull. Ngaire was a superb host, very welcoming. Location ideal for families, our children loved the animals on the farm and feeding them with the animal food provided. There were lots of games and toy box for children. Cottage is warm and cosy, will certainly look to stay again if in the area and would recommend to anyone looking for a peacefull stay a stones throw away from the city

Ngarie was amazing! She went out of her way to make us so welcome! All the extra sweet wee touches made it so more special from the welcome sign to the goat and chicken food even what the weather was ment to do, and breakfast was amazing! We will be returning again in the near future, no more hotels for us when we come to dunedin!
