2 stars for quality workmanship.1 star for the colleague who saved the day.Good:- good quality job- relatively quick turnaround- sent photos of the job with invoice- included headlight polishingBad:- disappointing customer serviceI needed to get a couple of panels repainted and got quotes from all of the local panel beaters. They all were priced about the same but Grant (owner) of Bays Collision seemed friendly and personable so I decided to go with Bays Collision. Come pick up day we went to inspect the job together and I noticed the edges of the bonnet were sanded and unpainted so I asked him for a touch up. He immediately accused me of trying to get a discount and that it was an existing issue that I was trying to get him to fix because I apparently like to sand the edges of my bonnet in my free time… I clarified I wanted a quality job and didn’t want a discount but he repeatedly accused me of being at fault. His colleague came over with a bucket of leftover paint and a brush, and corrected the edges in 2min.It was disappointing to see how different Grant treated customers over a minor issue and left a sour taste with the overall experience. Grant, next time you have a difficult conversation with a customer I hope you remember that it’s your initial friendliness that was your edge over your competitors. Not mad just disappointed.FYI - paid full price no haggling.
