I don’t often write negative reviews and thought a lot about this one, but in this case the experience of purchasing our first home was so stressful that it warrants this review.First I’d like to acknowledge that our first point of contact was great and absolutely wonderful to deal with, she was very professional and helped us as much she could. After the settlement we were contacted to give feedback about the purchase, but the form only asked about her so we gave a good review.It was with the listing agent that we had an experience which we’d like to never have again. From the very beginning it was very clear that he seemed to not want to sell the house to us. After we had signed the sale purchase agreement, communication was poor and it felt like we were left out in the cold throughout most of the process. We sent him several emails with enquiries about the process that went unanswered for days, until we called their office asking why he wasn’t replying. This was particularly stressful being first home buyers with no experience, and based in another city.During the pre-settlement inspection, it felt like I was being a burden on his time, and I rushed the inspection just to get it over with.

I would like to say how impressed we were with the service right from our initial meeting with our real estate agent Richard, with selling our Dads house. Throughout the listing, open homes and auction process he was very attentive and his follow-up and keeping us informed was gold star. I would recommend Richard and his team to anyone looking for true professionals to sell their home.
