Went here over the weekend and I was not impressed. Serving staff were kind of rude, the naan was burnt, the rogan josh was bland, and the fried ice cream" did not appear fried at all. It was just a ball of ice cream with an orange coconut coat."

This is the place you should go in Palmerston North for autheric India food. Great service, the food is so tasty (I'm still thinking about how yum it was 2 days later), lots of meat (unlike fastfood takeaways) The dine-in experience is the best. We are already planning our next visit.

The worst experience with the food we ordered! Chicken tandoori (entry) was all charred (burnt and total black) with awful smell. Chicken tikka with gravy was all creamy and oily with deep red colour pieces. We said it to get to hot" but due to the heavy cream it was still bland. Just felt that our tongues were smothered with cream without any flavour. The rice was also oily without any basmathi smell. It was totally wrong selection of the restaurant when you are hungry on a Friday evening."

I wish I could give 10 stars, I'm a regular and seasoned eater of Indian cuisine and I can honestly say it's absolutely the best Indian in town.And the timing was amazing.

TBH it's just another typical Indian restaurant. Spacious, can fit large groups and inexpensive. No designated parking ( only City council's parking ), lack of open views and not-so-authentic" Indian food (taste wise) means it's probably going to be an one time visit for me. Said that

Lunch set was worth it as it comes with a mains, rice and naan bread. Their lamb was so soft in their biryani. Chef made it spicy for us and it was soooo good

Delicious curry, naan and onion bhaji. We had butter chicken, chicken korma and chicken Tikka Masala. All excellent.Definitely not inexpensive, but also at least it's delicious

Great curry. The sagwala was very tasty, creamy and spicy. My girlfriend ordered a medium butter chicken; The waiter doubled checked her spice request which was very professional as this was an unusual request from a beautiful white lady. The Naan was slightly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The waiter poured beers very well with the perfect level of head. Very good dinner!

Table placement is excellent for small or large gatherings. Service fantastic. Food superb. Tandoori platter was a showcase. Garlic chicken, chicken bhuna and lamb all taste worthy dishes. Highly recommend.

The best indian restaurant in Palmerston North. Am saying this after trying all of them over the years. Always takeaway and never been disappointed. Great Service, delicious food & you can actually see the chef cooking (open plan kitchen). Highly recommended.
