Gr8 Tandoori I'm not so sure... Good Tandoori probably yes.Conveniently delivered in Lower Hutt for $12 extra within about 45min.Butter Chicken (medium heat) was nice and creamy but too sweet for my liking.Other members of our group enjoyed a Chicken Madras and a pea-heavy Vegan style dish.

Any restaurant can give good service, but I'm of the long-held opinion that it's the Indian's that know how to give hospitality. Here is no exception. Second visit, and both times I've been welcomed in like a long-lost relative and well looked after. They do it very well.The starter came with the main which annoys me no end, and it wasn't very good. Onion bahji reheated numerous times. Certainly wasn't freshly made. The Butter Chicken was good.

Thank you to our attentive staff last night who worked Easter Sunday. Our group of 10 thought this was the best Indian meals we have tried.Such a vast menu, and licensed too.Much appreciative.

GR8 Tandoori Indian Restaurant
We had a large group at Gr8 Tandoori for dinner. Pradeep was looking after us and gave excellent service. He was attentive, respectful, patience, and super accommodating as we had to add extra chairs. The food was tasty and the atmosphere pleasant. We had a great time and would highly recommend Gr8 Tandoori for your next meal out!

Abysmal. I ordered a lamb curry (with rice), fish curry (with rice), 3 naans and 1 appetizer of lamb kebabs (8 pieces). Everything was strangely sweet. The naans were not at all fluffy and a bit tough. The curries had 3-4 small cubes of their respective meats. The lamb curry was very heavily spiced with cloves which overpowered it. The kebabs were actually 4 kebabs cut in half. Not at all worth the money and will probably never eat here again - there are much better options in the hutt and I don't mind paying a little more for better food. The only good thing was that it was ready fairly quickly.

Best Indian we've had in the Hutt so far! My hubby had the lamb vindaloo and I had a paneer dish. Both were absolutely outstanding! Service was also amazing:) keep up the amazing work team! We can't wait till our next visit!!!

ZERO star. Last night we ordered pronse briyani , we usually do order 'pronse briyani' from GR8 Tandoori, but last night was not right person cook. We been so hungry and already told them while order that last time when we order medium hot, they made extra hot that we can't eat and this time 'pronse briyani' they cook just full of oil, lots of food color, total 4 pronse its uncooked.Just not happy with them.
