APPALLING behaviour.....never ever have experienced this level of customer service . rude and unapologetic owner. Does not admit his mistake of serving us a Sichuan chicken dish full of dried chillies and hardly any chicken ..nothing but filled with dried chillies.When we told him and his other rude and unhelpful staff...this young staff member started ignoring us and would not come back to the table to even refill our water on the table.Owner is very rude and threatened us combined with his very poor and unfriendly attitude. Felt verbally harassed .When gave him the feedback about the horrible dish he served us..he started saying racist comments that where we were from and have we eaten Chinese food before....?????And this is how they serve Chinese dishes....the owner did not want to do anything to handle the situation and said he doesn't care".Really horrible and shocking behavior from the owner.Very poor attitude from a businessman dealing with customers providing the worst customer service.Unfriendly waiting staff - they were ignorant and very unprofessional.Owner is the worst must not be in a customer service role and environment.Such poor and irresponsible behavior and attitude shown by the owner and would not apologize or rectify the situation - when feedback given by us a customer.The owner’s poor attitude needs to change and he needs to start listening to customer feedback and respond effectively to customer complaints and handle the situations and complaints in a way better manner."

The food was excellent. I love the way you cook your own food at the table, good selection of meats and vegetables, spices etc. I would suggest going early on the weekends, as by 7-7.30pm it's packed with people and the noise levels go through the roof. Really good atmosphere though. Would definitely recommend the place.

Please do not go here - worst service I’ve ever experienced. Owner only gave us an hour to eat which we agreed with, however this wouldn’t be enough time to finish our food. So we asked for a takeaway to take home half the food. They refused to do so even when we have been in the past and allowed to take home the remaining food we paid for. Owner was very rude and refused to look us in the eye while not giving us a reason as to why? Younger staff laughed at us and then chose to ignore us. advice: state the policy to begin with if it does exists rather than scam customers and refuse an explanation. Good hotpot, mala was spicy and mushroom base was tasty. Sweet potato noodles are so good. However weekend night was insanely loud with rowdy people throwing things and slightly rude (drunk) diners. But overall food was great.

Had a great BYO with delicious popcorn cauliflower, fried chicken and dumplings. Karaoke could be improved (unable to select songs etc).

This restaurant should honestly just be called red flag. If I could give them no stars I would but since I’m writing a review they’ll get one.We arrived just after 6pm for a table of 3, the owner said that we can have the table for an hour and then to be out 7pm which we agreed to. We placed our orders and then waited for about 15mins before our food came out. We then had about 45mins before we had to leave so when it hit 6.45pm we asked the owner for takeaway containers since we still had a lot of food leftover and wanted to take it home to finish. He just said no refused to look at us and then walk away. So we proceeded to flag down the younger waiter who said that his boss said no we’re not allowed and then said “it’s common sense that you cannot take your food home”. I tried to reason and state that previously we were able to do so but he just laughed in our faces and walked away. Appalling behaviour definitely not going back. I used to be a regular and not anymore this had left us with a bad taste and feeling very angry and dissatisfied. We paid full price for our food and drinks and not being able to finish even half. Felt like the biggest scam. If you are not willing to give PAYING customers a takeaway container and gave them a time limit at least tell them beforehand. I do NOT recommend red hill to anyone, you’re better off going anywhere else but here. Save your money and you’ll get better service someplace else.

Who knew you could karaoke and eat Chinese at once. Only negative is they don't like you dancing on the tables. A must do experience. Food is great too.

The place is not too big but clean. Love their fish fillet in spicy oil! The amount of food is enough for two and the flavor is good! It's not that spicy but has an authentic taste of chilli peppers. We also had chicken salad which has the best sauce of sweetness and a hint of mint. Will come again to try other dishes.
