My husband and I have been patients at Porirua Union and Community Health Services for around 8 years now. We can't fault their guidance and expertise through various medical issues(one of them was major) and are now in much better health than when we arrived here. The advice we've been given has been holistic, and it has worked well. We're very grateful to have such excellent medical advice. We love them all.

I rang to organise an appointment for my child and was met with an incredibly rude receptionist spoke over the top of me didn’t let me explain our situation and immediately wanted an argument. So concerning this person is allowed to greet and speak to patients over the phone in this manner. Why is there no feedback and complaint area on website? The centre has not been updating our manage my health records.

I have been a patient of PUCHS for 2 years. Today I had an interesting encounter, I picked up my script and on it had a note from my Dr saying to book in an appointment with the nurse for an annual check up, I asked the receptionist if I could book in the appointment then and she said yep you can ring or book online" . I am right there what is preventing them from booking it while I am there. I just do not understand. I would have been happy to wait too but that option was not given. honestly we all have bad days but you are creating a barrier to my access to healthcare. Unprofessional and rude."

Had the worst call ever with the rudest receptionist! The call went like this:Me: Hi can I book a Doctors appointment?Receptionist: What was that for?Me: The fluReceptionist: That would be a noReceptionist: Whats your last nameMe: *Eternity*Receptionist: ARE YOU EVEN A PATIENT HERE?!! (They sounded so aggressive!)Me: No, I was going to bring in the filled out enrolment formsReceptionist: That's a no, you'll have to go to Kenepuru or your own GP!There's no mention of where to make formal complaints on their official website.

Worse experience ever. I called for an appointment like more than 3 times. The receptionist was so rude. She talked like she's arguing idk if she got offended by me asking for an appointment or she just woke up not having any breakfast. She put me on hold for 30 minutes then again I called and she told me to hold on and I was waiting hearing her typing the whole time then called again she told me my doctor is very busy and called again she said called next week then another called she said my doctor isn't working. Then called again she said my doctor will be coming in next month like whaaaaat. Horrible.

Rang to organise joining the medical center and was faced with immediate rudeness from receptionist and when told i have serious medical and depression issues the receptionist got even ruder, stating we are not taking anyone else.Was left feeling violated and depressed i had no chance at any help from this bad practice.And since all my calls on my phone are automatically recorded due to my disabilities, this call has now been put on youtube for all to hear.

I went there this morning as I hd a heart attack 2weeks ago ang my cardiologist asked me to get a GP near by to be able to monitor my condition. The receptionist was just horrible! She was rude! I had to leave and find somewhere elso to go than have another heart attack because of her. Terrible experience! I

WORST HEALTH SERVICE EVER!!!I started ringing them from last week for my repeats, and those meds I need them everyday. I've gone without my medications for 3 days now and I'm not doing good. I've rung 2-3 times everyday this week and was given the same answers, the nurse will ring you (never happened)/ doctor is too busy to sign for them. Ive explained my health condition and how much I need those medications but the reception lady didn't seem to care at all and was rude. So I'm still waiting
