It's unacceptable that you are kept in a call queue when trying to contact the police by telephone, on a non-urgent, but important matter. We expect it from a power company or telco but not from an essential public service such as the police.

Three occasions now over 2 years never followed for final conclusion.Then last night followed the offender to assist others police informed never turned up.Of the opinion Dunedin Police are a little lazy.

Very gentle when handcuffing, comfy cars, and polite police officers.10/10 would get arrested again

Can you guys start looking out for ppl at the bus hub witnessed ppl lately harrising older ppl one day someone will hurt them. I find it unsafe waiting for the bus with this stuff going on

1st they kidnapped me and put me in there car Then They locked me in a room without my permission With a camera looking at the Toilet so they can watch me take a dump The food was pretty horrible The worst food I have ever had It was Undercooked And parts of it were still frozen and the bread would've been over 3to4 days old My experience was very horrible It is not a nice place recommended staying away

Amazing service, they tracked my daughter down through me to return her purse which had been lost and posted through a mailbox. Thanks to the postie too who bothered to hand it in. Above and beyond.

Absolutely poor service for a solo parent and Tongan mother of two children. Came in to ask for a lift to the Dunedin Night Shelter and was told that there was no units available and have been here since 8:57pm and still “no units available”….poor service and poor staff manners to someone with mental health conditions she’s had since she was six years old due to traumatic experiences “family” should not inflict on a wee child. Absolute worst and will be making a complaints in regards to tonight and previous calls and welfare checks I’ve made and have not been updated on. Complaining to the chain of command, the Local MP and the Police Commissioner and the treatment of a Tongan Mum on a benefit and struggling mentally and physically and emotionally since moving here late July.
