I come here for lunch. Pork ribs is huge portion even for lunch portion. The prawn with rice appetizer is creamy and tasty. Steak is sauce marinated so it is not what I prefer to be. Still good. Food portion is too large as all mains come with fries. Overall is good but pick menu wisely.

Mozambique Prawns the best one for me. Grilled rib is a little bit sweet for me, but still good. Next time I’ll try Mozambique Prawns again definitely .

Highly recommended going here with a huge appetite!Servings are massive and you will leave with the meat sweats. For starters we got bluff oysters, which was a first for me. Their a lot bigger but still delicate in taste. We also got the creamy spicy Mozambique prawns. Very decadent and you don’t want to waste a drop of the sauce. For mains we got a mix grill for two, we paid a little extra to have the steak upped to a ribeye. We devoured this board, everything was cooked perfectly. The ribs were tender and juicy. The crispy shallots on top the steak was a nice touch.Highlight for me was the boerewors with chimichurri. Flavour bomb!

we skipped the long queue by agreeing to sit on the bar which was nice! we get to see the busy bartender doing their job very nicely, they offer amazing steak and the kitchen was busking. food and non alcoholic drinks are very nice, their mushroom sauce for steaks were top notch ! i recommend anyone coming here doing reservation beforehand as the restaurant itself is very busy and packed with guests

So as we arrived we got cheese balls to the table which were amazing, the service was outstanding. Wait time wasn’t long at all for food and I got the eye fillet, was cooked to perfection. Absolutely loved our meal and highly recommend this place.

Oliva was amazing server, food was best we have had in our stay. Drinks were amazing and prices were very good for the quality of food. Highly recommend Flame. Picture of 3 Steak platter, absolutely perfectly cooked and had leftover for the next night's dinner, huge portions.

This is the first time I traveled in Queenstown. I had dinner at this restaurant for two consecutive nights for a few days. The first night was June 11. The foreman or manager of the store was very nice. He could remember the names of the guests, so I decided to come again on the 12th. dinner.Unfortunately, on the second date, some strange things happened. The manager on the evening of the 12th wanted to take my plate away before I finished my meal. I said I was still eating. After I finished eating, I told the waitress to check out and put the bill on on the table,I would go to bathroom first. I went to the bathroom, and my clothes were still on the chair. After I came back and sat down for a while, it seemed that the manager asked another person to come over and ask me to pay. I asked didn’t I always check out at the front desk? I didn't say anything further, and left after paying the bill. The second night experience was really terrible. It feels like the manager seems to be worried about me escaping orders? Another point, I noticed that all the waitress are very enthusiastic when they serve white people, asking where did they come from etc.? It's a pity that when dealing with Asians, no smile and just hurriedly ordered and left.I see the waitress chat with white people for more than 5 minutes at a table next to my table. It makes people feel a bit indirectly racist. The food is generally okay, but the French fries are too salty, the mash potato tastes weird, the lamb chops are a bit greasy, and others are okay. U can definitely find better food with much cheaper price in Queenstown. In general, it really varies from person to person. I won’t say they are all racist, but some definitely unconscious yes. Won’t recommend to go this place to damage your holiday mood.

Oh, what beautiful meal this was! Our Queenstown experience was made complete due to our dinner at Flame Bar & Grill. I absolutely could not recommend this enough. It was worth every penny. Steaks were amazing, and sauces were by far the most delicious I have ever tasted. Coming from Christchurch, we were absolutely in love with this restaurant. We enjoyed everything we had from here!! Prices were reasonable enough for the experience. Staff service was impeccable, really. Just had to tip!!! Will definitely come back. Thanks guys!!
