I have cancelled the job and told them to leave it till further notices as they been ringing every 2nd week, even i replied the text messages No to stop but still someone tend up at the property and then my tenant have stopped them too as they have fish pond outside so needed to arranged their safety from chemicals and the guy said he will call and will make new appointments.. After 2 weeks no one called, nothing and they ended up to the property and left the card job is done.. when my tenant came home she called me to check if they were supposed to come and do roof cleaning and I said No and i replied them not till my further notice, and send her screenshots and we both called the company and she had to clean the whole fish pond to check if all the fish was ok. We both called the company from the number provided on the card and left messages for and was told manager will going to call us as they were not supposed to go without letting us know and it’s been over a month no one called. We not sure what service they did, how long it took, what did they do no idea.. Don’t trust them at all, very very pushy and bad communication with the customer service.

They didn't come round today because we had very heavy rain. Much too dangerous!

I'm very happy with the work done but the scheduling and communication was pretty haphazard. I had to ring them after the scaff had been up for a week or so and ask if someone was coming to do the actual work. After the work I had to ring again after a week or so and ask for the scaff to be taken down. Then I had to ring again and ask for the safety wrapping to be removed. Everyone was pleasant and the work is great but... it was a lot of chasing.

Used this company before many years ago and called upon them again last year to do a moss spray on the roof.After some disappointments with 3 false starts / no shows along with a price quote irregularity, 2 of their roofers eventually came along Jan 2023 and did a good job with moss spraying on my roof. Appears they introduced a new booking/scheduling system which has resulted in some frustrations to both customers and their own frontline staff in the last year or so. This resulted in me having to repeatedly chase up via Email, text and calls (Came very close to cancelling the contract entirely).Job was completed within an hour. No issue whatsoever with their frontline staff who were pleasant to deal with and answered any questions I had. The company however will need to sort their back end systems and work on their communication as according their own field staff, they've had multiple complaints of the same issues from other customers.

Beware of this company. Scammers.I asked for a quote to cement a tile back in place. What I got was a whopping quote for $2.5K that also included broken tile replacement & lichen treatment. The photo they shared with me that accompanied the quote was one of my roof from google maps taken a couple of years ago - my roof is in fine shape (apart from the tile that needs cementing in) & has no broken tiles & was treated & painted quite recently!

We used this company for my previous home, was a great experience and decided to ask them again to do our current home, but this time totally changed! They definitely ruined their brand name and reputation. 1) Sales brought other client ‘s the quote and plan to my home that was very expensive and even threatened me if I did not fix my roof immediately 2) Schedule extended three times, 3) sent a subcontractor the fourth time who totally had no idea about the work, made phone call and left in 10 minutes. 4) I called their manager to cancel the work, he was rude and show no care, no responsibility at all.5) they deducted around $460 from my deposit for cleaning my roof, that is okay, but the whole process was less than 10 minutes, I really doubt they washed the whole roof as I see no any obvious change. Thinking of that this charge is too much!!

The representative told us that the $450 price will cover TWO visits for cleaning the roof. This was misleading as we received the second bill after the second visit. Trying to email the company twice there was no reply at all. I paid the second bill but this is not right.I don't think we will deal with Edwards and Hardy in the future

No happy with the company at all, was never told that it will take 12 months for the treatment to work, would have rejected if it was mentioned when the Sales Rep turned up at my door step as it doesnt help us with our purpose. when there was no change in the condition of the roof called up the auckland office only to be told it will work but takes 6 to 12 months to work. when complained that it doesnt serve my purpose and was not aware of it the lady said she will get the auckland sales manager to call whom I dont want to speak to as I know him personally and I dont feel comfortable talking to, the lady was so rude said he is the sales manager and he is the only one available to speak to. NEVER GOING TO USE THESE PEOPLE EVER AGAIN. I wonder how they can charge when we havent received the result of their service... thinking commerce commssion might be interested in knowing how this works

Incompetent comes to mind when I think of this company. After numerous attempts to have someone come out to perform an urgent roof repair and being told someone will contact me after 72hrs then that time having lapsed to then having to contact them again to get an update, then to be told to wait another 72hrs, to then wait again that length of time, then having to call back to get a progress update and further be told by the branch manager who called me once I’d ended the call to say they can only come out when it’s raining to determine where the leak is so would be “whenever it rains next” seems illogical and not very business savvy. It also worries me that the rep id first spoken with said they couldn’t come out because of the rain? Spoke with only 2 people and they contradicted each other. Do you even repair roofs? Suffice to say I’ve wasted enough time with this mickey mouse outfit and sought help from actual professionals. P.S - to this day they’ve not followed up on my booking.
