Jenny Nail Salon and Spa

I went to Jenny's to get my nails done for my upcoming school ball. The staff there were so lovely!! I was using a voucher and they let me know that because of the nice quality my nails were already in, they could do a less expensive express gel and use the leftover credit to put designs on my nails. They showed me a whole load of design ideas, and let me know what colours were more transparent or opaque so that I wasn't disappointed. They were super enthusiastic and very informative about the whole process. They understood it was for my ball and made sure to cater my nails best for my dress and jewelry. The design turned out super cute and I'm so happy with it; the atmosphere was super chill and friendly, I'd definitely come back in the future!

I really enjoyed going to Jenny's, the technicians were friendly and efficient. I got a gel manicure with a powdered finish and love the final result. They have a great varied selection of colours and products to choose from as well.

Don’t go here, booked an appointment for 5:30 but since they take walk ins as well didn’t get seated till 6:30 and didn’t leave until 8 because bookings weren’t prioritised and we had to wait. Salon was dirty, staff are rude and prices are ridiculous. Even when I finally got my nails done the next day the polish started fading at the corners because I don’t think they used a top coat. All thought it took forever, felt very rushed. Don’t recommend.

I am a trainee nail tech. First time was great. Second time nails peeled within two weeks - see pics. Jenny blamed me saying I used hand sanitizer and wash my hand too often. She said I should know they only guarantee nails for a week. Neither her or her staff said anything like that before. She said because I'd been to her and other salons I should know that. How ridiculous!I had not changed my routine so why would I now? I work 9-5.30, yet she demanded I go then or my nails would not be fixed because she would have to pay staff overtime. I had to take 2 hours off work to get this sorted. If she had to pay for my time it would have cost them more!Jenny (owner) openly had an argument with me in front of other customers and blamed me, which made them uncomfortable. Then another technician got involved. I told her to keep her nose out.I won't ever go there again. Truly, do yourself a favour and stay away. If they blame all their customers, clearly they take no social responsibility.! Worst salon ever!!

Was unhappy because the nail tech that was doing my nails kept making mistakes. But then i asked the nail tech who was next to me if she cld do mine because she seemed good at her job and she said yes and finished my nails. She was definitely the best nail tech there and amazing at it. She always asked if i was happy with them and was very patient with the designs i asked for. Her name was Jessica and I will definitely be requesting her next time i’m there.

The best nail salon in Wellington!!! I've been getting my nails done here for over 2 years now & I've had my nails done by every technician in the salon & can safely say thay each & every one of them are fantastic.I went to a different nail salon yesterday because I was in central wellington & desperate... & they did such a terrible job!! I should've just waited & come into Jenny's!! I've definitely learnt my lesson...Thank you, ladies, for always providing such wonderful service

This is the first time I've ever had my nails done.The staff were lovely, friendly and very welcoming.I did get a little cut on one of my fingers from the drill but I loved how my nails turned out. There are so many colors and it was hard to choose. I'll definitely go back.

Booked with Jenny, didn't get her(?) until 45 minutes through my appointment. Prior to then, was two rounds of 15 to 20 minutes of soaking my fingernails (getting sns extensions off) by two different technicians.. each asking what I was getting done and what colours I wanted. I had to repeat myself four times total, including the lady who sat me down.I felt like a statistic and unvalued as a customer who could potentially return (I won't as I am from out of town) — Jenny (or at least I assume it was her) came to do my sns nails finally and I felt some sense of relief.The nails ended up being lovely so I am happy with the overall result, just felt there was a lack of rapport with me and that they potentially had over booked.
