A wee gem in Ōpōtiki ~ THE most delicious cheese burger, grilled sandwich & kumara chips. Highly recommend to stop here even if just passing through as we were :)

awsum place to have a meal and affordable and reasonably cheap.i took my auntie here and two of her friends my brother for her birthdaylunch. it was so nice just to enjoy a normal coffee and the cups are big too. the staff were so nice to chat to so friendly. it was warm and comfortable and a homely feeling. a great place if your looking for a stop off and a break.

Wow! This was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. I’m now Coeliac and they did gluten free fish and chips in a separate vat so no cross-contamination. The batter was light and not too dense or oily like a lot of gluten free batters. If you are looking for Gluten Free food in Opotiki or really anyone looking for a good meal, this is the place to go! I recommend the Snapper - it was obviously fresh and absolutely delicious.

Rather disappointed. I was looking forward to trying this place after reading the reviews and them having gluten free options.I went in on Tuesday new years public holiday ordered the oyster and chip deal with a piece of Tarakihi gluten free, only to be told the vats for the gluten free option were not on and you have to phone ahead if you want gluten free so they can heat the vat unless you dont mind waiting over an hour for them to turn them on and heat them while you wait.Not exactly helpful or friendly.I would not return or recommend
