We came here on a Tuesday and basically had the cinema to ourselves. We had couches to our selves in the back row and felt very old school which is why we chose to watch a movie there. Recommend if you are in Devonport.

I have never actually been in this Theatre. It is a famous icon of Devonport. A beautiful old Theatre.Very popular now as a Cinema.

This heritage building and movie theatre is an absolute treasure of Devonport. We love regularly taking our children to see movies in the beautifully decorated art deco cinemas. Ticket prices and super reasonable and loads of snacks, ice creams and a cheeky wine if it’s a date night without the kids!

Cheaper costs when compared to larger cinemas like Event Cinemas.Decent amount of seats available for a small town cinema.Seating are also unassigned so it's first come first serve.The seats themselves are just cushioned chairs nailed to a wooden floorboard though so no cup holders or arm rests.

Have been coming to The Vic to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show for years! Such a lovely theatre, and always a good show!!Get the dark chocolate gelato!

I guess it would be quite nostalgic for some, very handy for those who live in Devonport and is quite beautiful but not my cup of tea. Very affordable tickets but the theatre smelt like a 1970s car, staff are wonderfully friendly but the seats were rather uncomfortable and sadly the best spot in the house is taken by the stairway down the middle of the theatre.
