Francesca's Italian Kitchen Wanaka
This is an amazing Italian restaurant and all of the dishes are so delicious. Had the Beef Carpaccio, the fire oven pizza and Panna Cotta for dessert and all were outstanding. My wife had the seafood risotto and the seafood was plentiful and so fresh. The wait staff is super friendly and the bar makes one of the best gin martinis I have had since hitting NZ. Highly recommend and make sure you make reservations as the place is always packed

Husband ordered the seafood pasta with clams, the waitress said that they had run out of clams but the mussels were still in it. So the main ingredient was absent but price was the same. Hubby went with th Duck ragout instead. Food tasted great, but the 3 bread croutons that were with my entree were so hard I couldn't bite them. My husband had trouble breaking them with his hands they were so hard. Told our waitress, and she just said that they're meant to be crunchy. When we replied that they were so hard, they were inedible she just smiled. I did reassure her that the rest of the entree was great. She replied, That's great." She smiled

Amazing Vegan Menu;We dined here for dinner service and had the vegan menu. Just ask for it, there is a whole seperate menu that's exclusively vegan. Everything that delicious, the best Italian I've had in years. The whipped feta is the real star of the show.

Wish I lived in NZ so I could visit again. Food was incredible, staff were fantastic. Allen was so helpful for suggestions as well. Charlotte was lovely. The best tiramisu I've ever tasted, and the espresso martinis are fantastic

Food was good! They have a gluten free pasta you can sub in and gluten free crust for pizza. Was able to get a walk in, but it was busy.

We had a great dinner at Francesca's Kitchen. It was a relaxed vibe and the service was friendly. Our 2yo daughter got some colouring in and a kids menu which kept her occupied and also made us feel more comfortable. The location was within walking distance of our accommodation which was along the water so very convenient for us. The cannoli for dessert was amazing.

Managed to squeeze in on a busy Friday at the start of the school holidays. We were greeted by incredibly friendly staff and were patient with us despite being run off their feet during rush hour. After ordering the Prawn Linguine and Cotto pizza it was delivered to us within 5min! The food was enjoyable but lacked the wow! factor that we have experienced at other restaurants during our South Island road trip. However if you’re in the area it’s well worth a stop in.

Lovely dining experience at Francesca’s. Perfect place to take my parents visiting from out of town.Delicious food, great ambience and friendly staff. Flavours were very impressive. We shared polenta chips to start. I had the pork belly with an Italian style apple sauce which was amazing. Who can go passed tiramisu? It was a very good finale to dinner.Highly recommend the house Chianti too!

We hadn‘t reserved a table but the maitre‘d went out of his way and we were lucky enough to get one anyway.The pizza was great coming straight out of an authentic italian stone pizza-oven.My wife hade the „romesco gnocci“ and it was a delight!Service was great and this was truely some of the best Italian food outside Italy!

Generous portionPolite staffFood was pretty tasty but dessert was a tad too sweet!Polenta fries was a lil salty for my likingPlace was packed on Sat night, but thankfully we made a reservation!
