If there is public transportation can link to Hamilton city centre at Frankton would be good. A bit too quiet at the train station and feel a bit nervous while waiting for texi or Uber.

Busy place on the day we called in. Steam train ride meant an extra 500 passengers, and that meant the car park was over flowing.

Our wine and dine vintage railway trip from Hamilton to TeKuiti was great fun. The train was late, it's a little hard to balance your drinks with the train movement and hard to talk with friends across the isle but the prepackaged meals and service were good. $109 for over three hours, watching the engine on the turntable and a walk at TeKuiti and enjoying the nz countryside looking out of a vintage carriage were all worth while. Would do it again for sure

It not as nice looking as the new transport hub, but there is extra parking there for those using the train to Auckland. It would be nice if they did this place up with small stores, coffee shops, cafe, etc

Google map shows it is near to high street and we need to cross the railway track. But it is not the right way to enter. We need to follow the fraser street near Queen Ave to reach there.
