Dear White | Auckland Wedding Photographer

Great experience, recently had my graduation photos shot by Jo. Awesome quality, fun time and both Jo and Dan were accommodating and easy to work with. Would recommend Dear White for any special event and would definitely go with them for photography in the future!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My husband and I hate being the centre of attention and are generally very awkward in front of a camera. Dan and his team Marla, Kenny and Ash, put us at such ease on the day, it was basically like having very talented friends at the wedding who also doubled as amazing videographers and photographers taking the sneaky candid shot from time to time.Dan basically planned out wedding for us - spending hours helping us with our timelines and all the little details with so much care and attention. He even replied to my panicky emails at 12am some days (totally wasn't expecting a reply, sorry Dan)! He was also the mastermind behind a secret groomsman first look on the day - even supplied dress options!Thank you all so, SO much - you made our day so special, and we know you moved mountains to make it even after we had to last minute reschedule the date!I honestly can't recommend Dan and his team enough. Their photos speak for themselves!

If we could give a higher review than 5 starts we would!!We locked in Dear White for our wedding at pretty short notice. Dan and the team were so so accommodating and helpful from day 1. They kept in contact constantly, arranged face to face meetings to get a feel for all the little details we would want to capture and guided us through the process of our wedding photography!When we say help with little details, it’s the things we don’t think of ourselves like positioning of where to do a second “dip kiss” where to do the photos of getting ready, they helped arrange the group photos and so much more!We had Athena and Ellie do our full wedding day including photos of getting ready and they were professional throughout yet so much fun and so natural that they were also perfect guests!Upon receiving the final gallery, we were blown away by the final production and editing of the photos and again the overall level of service.Do yourself a BIG favour and GET DEAR WHITE TO YOUR WEDDING!!!

It was such a great experience with Dear White, the entire process is very smooth and natural, my husband and I enjoy the interaction with Daniel, it was fun. The photos are all very beautiful and much better than what we expected! High recommended!

Dan was the best person we could have ever asked to help on our wedding day. Not only is he an awesome photographer, but he also went above and beyond to assist with the planning, preparation, and using his experience to put our minds at ease. We were organizing everything while living overseas, and he was always available to chat whenever we needed him. The editing done by both him and Jo is amazing, and all the photos and videos turned out exactly as we had hoped. The crew that accompanied him for the day, Kenny, Ash, and Marla, made everything run smoothly. Thank you so much Dan!

Dan & Ash were awesome, my wife and I flew out to get married in Hobbiton and these two went above and beyond to get as many shots as they could and great video. The shoot was fun with tons of variety. Dan is incredibly nice and outgoing and a phenomenal photographer, as dual camera wielding like he's in Attack on Titan. We haven't gotten the video yet but I'm sure Ash will nail it. It was a great experience and time through and through. I would highly recommend Dear White for quality photos and experience!

If you don't hire Dan and his team, then you are missing out on the most memorable photos of your life. From the start of our communication to the day of our wedding, he was phenomenal. He is a a Photography Master and nailed shot after shot! If you want easy communication, a personable and fun photographer, and creative and stellar photos, Dan's your man. He made our elopement SO special. We are from the US, and he seamlessly navigated us through the process and even helped me find a brilliant hair and make up artist. He went above and beyond in all aspects and made our big day literal perfection! You're going to obsess over his work! Promise!

Dan, Jo and Athena are the most amazing and talented photographers! We hired them to do photos and video for our March wedding at Ohariu Farm in Wellington after they captured my sisters wedding a couple of years earlier. And wow!! Not only do they bring HYPE and so much enthusiam but their work is incredible.They have the perfect balance between creative and classic wedding shots and brought out the best in us and our guests. They made sure to capture all the special moments and also lots of our family and friends, who also raved about them! Also plenty of funny shots that will make us laugh for years to come :)Our photos came out looking like magic and our video is like a romantic short film!We would 110% recommend them to anyone looking for wedding photography, or any special occasion.Thanks so much team!
