The Pool People

Good advice on repairing existing equipment when others advised to replace it at three times the cost. A year later no issues. Valet guy was knowledge and provided correct advice when I was balancing my pool incorrectly which caused the equipment issues and a green pool. Will be calling these guy next time I break something or will be seeking advice from old older chap in the shop before I rely on the instructions on the chemical labels. #advice is free, assuming was costly. Terrible customer service. Always been unfriendly when ve purchased items over the years. Now I've needed their help with my pool and very reluctant to help and just want to blame my pool equipment.

Aparrently workers of this company have big struggle reading parking signs. Had to call the company to do THEM a favor of not tow awaying their truck. When asked to free parking space the person was very rude and did not even apologise. -10\10

They will offer you the worst service ever!!!They will just come every month to put chemicals in your pool, charge you afterwards without properly cleaning the surface and say afterwards they did clean it.They are too busy to even bother when you call them and complain. Very bad experience, staff are rude too. Try not to make any contract with these people, cause they are very unreliable.

Have phoned 4 times now to get our pool cover repaired as has stopped working. Each time we phone the person in charge tells me he will follow up with the Christchurch contractor but we get no response. Every Friday he is out of the office and not available. They are more than happy to help for new installs but when something goes wrong there service is very poor. I do not recommend them for automated pool covers.

3 months late fitting the cover. From the day he left we’ve had no contact. Pool doesn’t even open all the way. Had he been on time for the pool cover we wouldn’t of now required by council the have a fenced in pool, now left to fix the pool cover at our expense.

I use The Pool People for their free water testing service, and purchase the required chemicals from them. Their staff are always very helpful, and they have the full range of chemicals required at competitive prices.

If they can't get a simple appointment right then you have wonder about the service. Perhaps a bullet well-dodged.

Total Rip off, I knew the call out fee was expensive but as my Zodaic unit was playing up i needed to find out why, the were unable to diagonise the issue and made up a lame excuse that its a faulty cell as it was brought online and Zodaic dont sell Cells online in NZ and Australia .. Load of rubbish as i contact the Pool Company in Australia and they said thats non sense. So spent $190 call out fee, but they had already made their mind up before the tech arrived, The tech was reporting back to office Cell is in excellent condition etc.. but then came back with spin of its a fake cell etc.. hence it stopped producing chlorine. Waste of time and very poor that they represent a supposed Official Zodiac Service Centre.
