They stopped serving coffee and ice cream one hour before they close and they wouldn't really be any other reason to go there. Be nice if their hours reflected this or if they could keep the machines open until posted closing time

One of the best shops in Ōtautahi. A wonderful selection of New Zealand made homewares. Tessa has exquisite taste, and knowing the makers' stories makes it even more enjoyable shopping here. Also love Frances Nation Grocer downstairs for delicious NZ made treats and coffee.

Such a special spot, with gorgeous products made here in Aotearoa. It's great being able to buy gifts and homewares made locally, and I never drop by without finding something new to love. A gem of Ōtautahi!

Incompetent or just don't care about customers?I arrived to find this shop shut with an illegible note on the door, enquired with staff and were rudely told NO" when asked if they were open.No information on their website or social media about being shut

What a wonderful discovery! Couldn’t believe the care and attention that has obviously gone into this lovely space and its homewares counterpart, upstairs. Beautifully curated selection of goods made in Aotearoa. Lovely staff too, who are clearly well across the products they’re offering. What a lucky city Ōtautahi is!

What a wonderful place to discover while wandering Christchurch. Love the diversity of all New Zealand-made products. The online store is fantastic too so I have been able to continue to support New Zealand makers.

Beautiful shop that sells fine things here. From hand made perfume, aromatherapy, candles, woodcraft, ceramics, etc. All collected from all over New Zealand from the best. It's quite expensive but it's worth it. If you want to get some fine souvenirs or indulge yourself then this is one of the places. Very recommended!

I absolutely adore Frances Nation! I shop there regularly for gifts or nice things for my home, and it's one of the first places I take visitors to Otautahi. The curated range of NZ made goods is incredible and very reasonably priced, making it so easy to support local :)
